Lovely hotel in Harmelen, above a nice cafe/restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when I was stuck for transport to the wedding I was attending nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Fabulous location. Lombok is very multi cultural, great little eateries, shops and very friendly people who smile and say hello as you wander past. Great fun reading the street names- a lesson in the colonial past! The hotel us fabulous. Great food in the restaurant/bar, really pleasant sitting areas, inside and out and lovely design. Our room was remarkable. So expansive and generous. We loved it!

The staff are very friendly and will talk with you about many things, good conversation. The restaurant is nice and quiet and has nice food. Access to central Utrecht is easy by bus. Uber is a good quality service but quite pricy for my budget. Not that I disliked it but the restaurant could have a few more different course meals, otherwise nothing else.

The staff were always very pleasant and cheerful. The room was one of the nicer ones that I've ever stayed in, in regard to cleanliness and technology. I really liked the TV, where you could connect with Netflix and YouTube accounts and watch your favorite content. Wi-Fi signal was also very good. I also liked it very much that we were very close to the Central Station.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was amazing and the room was clean. We didn't have the chance to eat at the restaurant but everything looked amazing. I would suggest it for sure!!!!!

Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village...

Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village in the beautiful countryside not too far from Utrecht and close to the castle. The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with sufficient choice. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

Harmelen is a small village where you have nothing to do as...

Harmelen is a small village where you have nothing to do as a tourist unless you're in the province of Utrecht, where you're looking for all sorts of activities. In that case, Harmelen makes a peaceful base. Harmelen itself is a village like hundreds of others in the Netherlands. A church, four terraces, four restaurants, and otherwise, new housing developments and ugly neighborhoods. So, spend the night and get out of here.

We stayed overnight in the heart of Harmelen between two...

We stayed overnight in the heart of Harmelen between two stages of the Limes Trail. The hotel is literally right on the trail. We also had a delicious meal there. It was a shame there were no coffee and tea facilities in the room. Considering the price of the overnight stay (excluding breakfast), that would have been welcome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and restaurant Het Wapen van Harmelen. The location is central and perfect for visiting the town center/shopping, walking, cycling, and other activities. The accommodation exceeded our expectations.

The accommodation in Harmelen is in a great location, easily...

The accommodation in Harmelen is in a great location, easily accessible from Amsterdam, and even more so from Utrecht. The village is fantastic, especially for those who love typical Dutch landscapes and cycling or hiking. The attached restaurant serves delicious, tasty food. The setting is very quiet, despite being busy.

Harmelen is a beautiful village situated on the Old Rhine.

Harmelen is a beautiful village situated on the Old Rhine. The village boasts a magnificent (originally medieval) church, surrounded by a (good) hotel (Het Wapen van Harmelen), restaurants, and several charming shops. The surrounding area is stunning, and besides its beauty, the village is also a clean place where people care for their gardens.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms just across the road from the main building. Our room was really comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom, with toiletries, was beautiful. It was great to have a kettle. The bedding and towels were of a high quality. We had a balcony overlooking the street, but the sound proofing was excellent. The town is very small, and the hotel is centrally located.

Very clean room, with nice canal view, good and varied breakfast (although, some vegetabels will be a plus), nice host. Harmelen is a charming little town, ne-ar de Haar Castle.
