Loved being in the centre of the town & very close to the boat for Terschelling. Very impressed with the interior design. Easy access to the room. Coming from Australia it was a treat to be in a beautiful Dutch house especially the front facade.

Typical Dutch Cafe, right on a square in the middle of town. Very helpful and friendly staff, first time anyone has offered to carry my luggage in years ! The food is also typical and very good, the service in the restaurant also quick, efficient and super friendly. My room was spacious and clean, and a very comfortable bed. It was all I was hoping for and more.

Idyllic and well-kept small town, with canal and flowers. Excellent place to stay near Harlingen. Few facilities for visitors, no restaurant or grocery store. Funny story about the local hero Greate Pier, who had a sword of 2.5 meters.

Kimswerd is a charming little town where you can truly relax...

Kimswerd is a charming little town where you can truly relax. It boasts the oldest church in North Holland, which is definitely worth a visit. From Kimswerd, you can enjoy some wonderful cycling tours using the Dutch junction system. I highly recommend this place for relaxation and for cyclists.

Owner / Manager was absolutely tremendous. So friendly , helpful and effervescent. Appeared to really enjoy her profession . Of all the great things about the hotel - she was the greatest thing . Hotel is small , definitely old but shows the influence of care and concern for quality . Our room was large and had multiple windows for light but only one could be opened and might be a problem when hot outside . There was a fan in the room for such an occasion . Lunch was available at the hotel until 5 the day we were there .

Lovely, quaint little hotel in a small Dutch village. It felt more like staying with friends than staying in a hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the kitchen downstairs had a relaxed feel to it. Easy to make yourself at home.

Lovely touches throughout hotel, fantastic breakfast, a perfect stop if you need to get the boat in the morning but we wished we stayed longer. We would gove it a ten but then then no one would believe us :) excellent!

A lovely small hotel in the village of Kimsweed. The ground floor is a very welcoming restaurant with a nice outside space. The dinner was very good as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
