An exceptionally beautiful and relaxing place with beauty surrounding it. The Parc Suite is stunning with a view on the lake. Like a Monet Painting. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and supportive in every matter. It‘s quiet, beautiful and peaceful. We rented bikes and enjoyed the area and nature. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We arrived soaking wet from cycling in the rain and the host so nice to us. Quick check in and the place was very warm when we arrived. Our bikes were safely stored in the shed. The breakfast was amazing. Fantastic stay!!

We were travelling by bicycle and the hotel provided excellent bike storage facilities in a locked room. The restaurant service and food were fabulous. Breakfast was exceĺlent with great choices and the best croissants. Great hotel and great experience.

Experiencing what Hotel 1851 has to offer was a highlight of our 35 day adventure in Europe. From the moment we arrived at this hotel we knew we were going yo have a wonderful experience. It started with the helpful emails in advance of our arrival and continued with a number of special touches that included an envelope with our room key beside an inviting bowl of peppermints and an offer to store our bikes in the front hallway. Once in our room, the special touches continued with fresh flowers in the bathroom, delicious chocolates om our bed and a pleasing decor. Breakfast the following morning was a very special experience. Host Rene arrived at our door at precisely the time we requested with a huge wooden board filled with a broad assortment of breakfast treats. It took our breath away and our taste buds were delighted. On a closing note, I must add that the little village of Wijk bij Duurstede also offers many charms including a wide variety of restaurants and delightful shops as well as an ancient castle and a windmill that you can drive or cycle through, which we understand is a one of a kind experience.

The holiday park was fantastic with plenty of cycling, mountain biking and walking to do. They also have a heated indoor pool and a large outdoor pool. A restaurant on site and the availability to order fresh bread.

Beautiful natural surroundings!

Beautiful natural surroundings! We noticed that dining out is expensive in this area. There might be less to do for young couples, unless you enjoy mountain biking and hiking. It's not an area for partying and partying.

Leersum is a lovely town, situated in a beautiful area.

Leersum is a lovely town, situated in a beautiful area. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling, and plenty of places to eat out. On Sundays, there's a lovely service in the Michael's Church, where you'll receive a warm welcome.

Beautiful surroundings for walking, even for shorter hikes.

Beautiful surroundings for walking, even for shorter hikes. Beautiful in autumn with the colorful flowers and mushrooms. It's also said to be beautiful at the end of August with the heather in bloom. And for dinner, De Kluis in Doorn is highly recommended.

Beautiful place for cycling, the town center is within...

Beautiful place for cycling, the town center is within walking distance, with restaurants... A nice, simple campsite for cyclists with tents. A super friendly welcome, and everything spotlessly clean and tidy, with a stocked fridge and coffee and tea, so you can make your own. I would love to go back again.

Amazing estate! Everything is on the highest level! Territory, rooms, restaurants, personnel are amazing! We had the best time. Bistro Lof has delicious food and very nice service! Exceptional service in the whole hotel! We have ordered a birthday cake and the patisserie chef of the landgoed baked amazing cake for us, exceeding all expectations!! Thank you for wonderful day!
