We had a lovely stay and although it is a small house it was very comfortable for four adults in two bedrooms and shared bathroom. The house was equipped with everything we needed and very private with lots of windows overlooking the patio and small lawn. Both beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure was good. We were a bit worried as we had to pull our bed down from the wall and it was two mattresses next to each other. If you stay on your side the mattress is super comfortable. We rented bikes and cycled everywhere on the island. If you want you can even arrange for your luggage to be transported from and to the ferry. There are a range of restaurants not that far away and a Jumbo to buy groceries. It is about 2.5km from the beach and beach restaurant and easy to reach.

It was a lovely stay.

It was a lovely stay. The only drawback was that there were no beach bars open. It's the end of the season, but there are still plenty of tourists eager for a drink after a lovely walk on the beach. The village is charming, with plenty of restaurants and some nice shops still open. Public transport is excellent, but the bus doesn't go to the beach.

Fantastic, right in the middle!

Fantastic, right in the middle! The windmill is nearby, and you can reach the end of the island by bike in any direction. Wonderful little groves and country lanes… idyllic – and lovely people, almost all very happy and content – a truly wonderful place…

Midsland is a village that is much smaller than West...

Midsland is a village that is much smaller than West Terschelling, but still has a Spar supermarket, a wine shop, an ice cream parlor, Primera, a gift shop, etc. I find it ideal because it's not as crowded as West Terschelling and you still have the shopping amenities.

The sauna was wonderful; it was quite cold outside.

The sauna was wonderful; it was quite cold outside. The furniture could be better; I have a slight disability: the sofa was too low; the chairs were too hard. Cycling right outside the door: a great location. Midsland: a lovely village. Good bike paths and delicious food at Loods in West and at De Rustende Jager in Formerum.

A lovely town with great shops and restaurants, such as Pura Vida. Beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking; you're quickly at the dunes and the sea, but also in the forest. Enjoy a drink and a bite to eat at the beach bar.

Midsland is a wonderful village to visit.

Midsland is a wonderful village to visit. It's a half-hour bike ride from West Terschelling, offering a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle. The village street is just around the corner, offering everything you need, including lovely restaurants and a charming village center.

Staying in Midslands is very convenient. All parts of the island are easy to reach. There is a bike rental place across the street from this hotel and the nearest grocery store is minutes away (by bike), along with multiple great restaurants. The kids loved being about to use the pool each day. The kitchen had all of the equipment that we wanted to use.
