Location of the hotel is great, just near the harbor and beside the lighthouse. Lots of food and drink options even till night. Its situated in market area and lots of local shops selling local items. The hotel itself has a good facade. The returant and lounge were great. The room was clean and spacious. We were very happy with the rpom - it was a two floor room with a small bed for kid on the upper floor, with a desk and chair. Lovely view especially from the upper floor. The staff were very helpful. In short the hotel offered what we needed for a perfect trip.

The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry in a quiet side street just off the main strip. It's friendly, quite traditional, and owners are proud to share information about their island. They provide a nice Dutch breakfast, and there's a relaxing terrace bar area. It will be my first choice on a return visit.

Even though we were only there for one weekend, we still...

Even though we were only there for one weekend, we still managed to do quite a few things: we visited the Behouden Huys (museum), the wreck museum, and the bunker museum. The town of West-Terschelling is also well worth a visit. There's also beautiful nature, perfect for lovely walks.

It's a really lovely island, and what's striking is that the waitstaff in the restaurants and bars is very friendly, even though it was quite busy. I haven't seen that in a long time. And of course, it's wonderful for cycling, with lovely beaches and charming villages.

Because of the bad weather, we went for a lot of walks and one bike ride. It's always nice to be back on Terschelling and come home. So we enjoyed delicious meals out every evening at various restaurants.

Your holiday begins with the boat trip. The island boasts charming villages with good restaurants and shops. There are four beach bars where you can enjoy a delicious meal. There are plenty of cycling and hiking trails, and beautiful scenery.

What wonderful bike rides we had, enjoying the villages, the dunes, and the beach. The food at De Walvis Westerschelling was fantastic, and lunch at Kaap Hoorn was also wonderful. We're not a young couple, 70 and 74, but we still feel young and blessed that we can still do everything.

It is a quaint little hotel in a good position near the centre of town but away from any noise. The bed was very comfortable. We received a cheery welcome and were checked-in speedily. The breakfast buffet was very nice although I would have liked the choice of having more than one egg and the coffee machine was very slow, resulting in a queue. It made very nice coffee though.

Great room options for families with two bedroom in the apartments, large balconies and a kitchen - lounge area. Quiet, peaceful location but also lots to do for kids - play park, swimming pool and now a tree top climbing course and excellent playground with inflated slide just behind the hotel! Kids here are so happy:-)

After giving us a single room at first, we were offered a comfortable twin in a dependence which was good. Breakfast was included and very good. Friendly staff and our dog was welcome everywhere. Easy possibility to walk from the hotel with the dog and still located in the centre.

Very friendly staff, they allowed us to check-in earlier and to modify the number of people in the reserve. It only takes 5 minutes by bike to get to West-Terschelling. Comfy beds and quiet at night. Nice breakfast, which is included (that was a pleasant surprise!).
