This area is absolutely beautiful!!

This area is absolutely beautiful!! The Hunabeden rocks are everywhere if you just go looking. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but we will return in summer to cycle some of the routes. The boards are amazing and cycle routes are numerous. Echt een aarader The restaurant in the Fletcher hotel was delicious. Good quality vs price and enough choices for every palate.

You can take lovely walks from the park.

You can take lovely walks from the park. South Laren is great for shopping and socializing. We visited Westerborg Park, which exceeded our expectations: impressive, and the guide was excellent. In the evening, we had dinner at Apricot in Assen. This restaurant serves a surprise menu. It's a full evening program with unique and delicious dishes!

The hotel boasts a unique rural setting.

The hotel boasts a unique rural setting. It lies on the edge of a nature reserve with excellent hiking opportunities. The hotel is located on a junction route, making it an excellent base for a cycling holiday. The price-quality ratio is excellent, making it highly recommended.

The surroundings are beautiful, and you can walk straight...

The surroundings are beautiful, and you can walk straight onto the dunes. The lovely restaurants and terraces are also within walking distance. I could have stayed longer! Especially with the beautiful weather, it's wonderful to relax on the lounger in the beautiful garden.

Especially if you own a dog, I highly recommend Hotel Zeegse...

Especially if you own a dog, I highly recommend Hotel Zeegse Duinen. Your dog is very welcome. Our room had a smooth, non-slip floor. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful area where you occasionally encounter an authentic Drenthe resident.

Great hotel in a beautiful setting.

Great hotel in a beautiful setting. Too bad it was freezing cold that weekend. One downside: after checking in, we were told our room was on the first floor, where the elevator and stairs were. However, all the elevators were out of order, so we still had to lug our suitcases. Otherwise, a really good hotel worth visiting again.

The hotel is good. The room was bigger than it looks in the pictures. The bathroom is spacious. I was only there for one night, for business reasons, so I didn't have a chance to look around. The food in the restaurant is excellent. I had dinner and breakfast. I assume lunch is also good.

Breakfast was good, lots of choices and also fresh eggs made the way you requested. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us with changing our accommodation from the family apartment to 2 hotel rooms.

The Zeegse Duinen are just a stone throw away, so the the location is ideal for walking in the heather covered sandy landscape of the northern Nederlands. The breakfast was good, and free parking was nice.
