The apartment was very spacious. It had a beautiful view. The people at the reception desk were very nice and we received our keys and directions on how to get to the apartment without any difficulties. The reception desk manager also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. We really like the restaurant Furoma in the yellow building

Wonderful welcome by the hosts.room a reasonable size with a small balcony overlooking the mountains.a lovely dinner of sea trout even the locals came to eat.a very friendly and cosy atmosphere.nothing was too much trouble.it was probably the best small hotel we stayed in over a 17 day road trip.high up in the mountains away from most places.peaceful and quiet.excellent value.

Nicely designed hiking trails for walking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Short distance to nature trails and alpine slopes with chairlifts that also operate in the summer season. A phenomenally beautiful water park that is well worth a visit.

A quiet little town primarily geared towards winter sports, but summer activities are developing. It's a perfect region for hiking, and you can see all the Instagram-worthy sights within an hour or two. Everything in town is super modern, cashless, and there are plenty of activities even for bad weather.

A nice place for us, not so experienced.

A nice place for us, not so experienced. Clouds at the top were so dense that it was difficult to get down from there, as we couldn't see more than 10 meters. The children's area was a bit too small. It was otherwise ok to get around the area and the lifts were in good condition.

Hovden is a really nice place to be, the ski center is close...

Hovden is a really nice place to be, the ski center is close to the cabin, nice ski area for adults and children We can highly recommend Hovden and Solestra Mountain Majesty Family Log Cabin. It took us 12 hours to drive to Hovden from Kolding

Hovden is a fantastic place with fantastic nature both...

Hovden is a fantastic place with fantastic nature both summer and winter. Great ski resorts for both downhill and cross-country skiing. Endless amounts of well-groomed trails, and good opportunities for mountain hikes both summer and winter.

Apartment was clean and cozy. Owners were friendly and offered help when needed. House located at the foot of the mountain and one hiking route (Hovdenuten) started basically from the backyard. Additionally there were breath-taking views from the apartment windows.

The location is stunning! We were here before in 2016 and the hotel recently had a major upgrade and looks great! Friendly staff, nice restaurant. Lots of cozy places to sit in and outside the hotel. We had a big room with beautiful river view.

Beautiful location, close to shops and in a quiet area. Lovey river walk right beside it. Parking was secure underground. Slightly awkward going to another hotel for the keys but only a short distance and was fine.

The staff was incredible and helped me to set up many things regarding my cycle across Norway, e.g. dry my wet gear and remove sand from my bicycle. The breakfast was superb, as well!
