Nice location, minutes away from Hamnoy viewpoint, Anita’s seafood and Reine. The house is not super big but has almost everything you need. Cozy and feel like home. The view is nice and I guess it would be breathtaking during winter.

The whole place is really lovely! Every room has been furnished beautifully with a lot of details to discover. We really felt at home after a short time and enjoyed the community area with popcorn machine and the morning yoga lessons. Thanks to Runhild and Zaneta, we always got tips and support when needed. If we should ever come back to Reine (and I hope we will), we will definitely stay at Catogården again.

Our apartment had everything we needed for a perfect two-night stay. Washer and dryer are available to use as well. Plenty of parking. Very well documented information about the apartment, things to do in the area, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi also very quick and stable. A small supermarket and some restaurants at walking distance. The view from the apartment was also gorgeous!

One of the most expensive accommodations during our stay in Lofoten. But unlike the others it was worth every single cent. Large, clean, comfortable apartment, furnished with great taste and with an enchanting view. The only disappointment was having booked only one night. Excellent does not do it justice, superlative is the correct adjective. If I were to return to the Lofoten Islands I would definitely try to return here

The room is incredibly cozy, with soft lighting that creates a relaxing atmosphere. I especially love the bathroom, which features a modern design and a pleasant scent from the provided shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.The bed is comfortable but not too soft, which is perfect for my back since overly soft beds usually cause me discomfort. I accidentally left my iPad on the bookshelf, but the host found it and kindly kept it safe for me until my friend could conveniently retrieve it. Definitely a 10/10 for the review!

Due to the weather issue, we late one day to check in, but everything is nice and cosy, just 5min walk to market, also easy take public transport from airport to andoya station. Got some board game and puzzle for kids.. We enjoy the view from the house.

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group...

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.

Perfect spot.

Perfect spot. Very quiet as there was only a few cabins near by but still close enough to things that are going on. Views were amazing from the cabin with a decked seating at the front of the property with views of the sea and the mountains. Just beautiful. We ate at Anita’s restaurant. We also ate from a take away cabin in Flakstadoya, well worth going there. It was delicious. Sorry we didn’t have time to kayak in Reine

Beautiful town!

Beautiful town! Try to be there when there aren't tour busses full of people. During the summer and the midnight sun it's really pleasant at night. Our highlight was hiking the Reinebringen - twice! Once at night, once in the morning. We also watched for orcas, which we heard were sighted pretty often that week but we didn't see them. Highly recommend staying at the Sakrisoy Gjestegård but it's easiest to get around if you have a car.

The excellent location and spacious unit Near public transport. The buses stop just outside. They should do something about the fire alarm which goes off at slight cooking. Otherwise excellent property great views.

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need...

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need to plan carefully on how to get around on the buses, and use the Reis app. We stayed on Sakriskoy which has 2 excellent restaurants. The Underhuset run by a very welcoming Mexican proprietor who cooks marvellously, and Anita's seafood.

We absolutely LOVED our 4-night stay at the Lofoten Islands in our mountain-view cottage. The scenery was the best of our month-long Scandinavian trip. The bedroom at Eliassen was far from perfect as the bed takes up most of the room and I don't like sleeping against the wall but that's just me. And also note there is no espresso coffee onsite but we drove to lovely Bringen cafe in Reine (from 10am, closed Mon) every day and that was perfect! We ate at Elisassen's restaurant most nights which was also fabulous.

Immaculate! Elegant remodel of a former Manor House. Top quality bed linens and towels. Superb views in all directions. Great location for a first two nights in Lofoten- just a 5 minute drive from Reine and the start of the Reinebringen hike. Very friendly welcome.
