Lovely hotel with soap provided in the room, pool are was lovely and clean although we didn't use it if we'd of had more time would have. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Will definitely be staying again

Felt directly like at home, nice ambiance, amazing people, especially the landlord Hege Kristine. Very tasty and healthy breakfast and dinner (both optional) - you should try. Excellent hiking possibilities to the fjord ridges and the mountains with incredible viewpoints and great walks through the woods.

The owner Berit was so kind and helpful. The property has amazing and breathtaking views through the dinning room and the outdoor seating area. We enjoyed watching the Northern Lights for 2 consecutive nights from the comfort of the terrace. Driving to and from Stranda is less than 10 minutes. The property is nicely decorated, shiny clean, very neat and perfectly equipped. We would like to stay there again any time we visit Stranda in the future.

Our best stay in Norway so far! Everything was perfect- the apartment, the view, the bed linen and towels. This is an amazing place. The house itself has everything you need and even more. Fully equipped kitchen with large refrigerator and all necessary utensils. Host even brought us a grill to cook on the fire. The house is amazing, in the common room there are huge windows overlooking the mountains. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, both the interior and lighting. The bed is comfortable. The house has a sauna. From the addition, washing machine and dishwasher. In general, everything to live even a month. The hosts are amazing people too. Thanks to them for their help in building a route to the sights. It was my best experience in many years.

When you are visiting Geiranger, you need to reach Stranda...

When you are visiting Geiranger, you need to reach Stranda through a ferry and the times for the ferry are not good. They have a ferry once a hour in the evenings and you will end up wait for an hour sometimes when you miss the previous one

For us Stranda was a point of sleeping over, while doing...

For us Stranda was a point of sleeping over, while doing tours in the area. There was 2 options of restaurants, so it was possible to get a dinner. Did not see much of Stranda in daytime - but they perhaps could have done some more of being the city of the Grandiosa Pizza and the well konwn Stranda Ham.

Stranda was just a stopover.

Stranda was just a stopover. The town is small, and we didn't find anything interesting. There were very few places to eat, but we ended up going to a gas station that also served hamburgers: excellent!

The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking, ferry trips,...

The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking, ferry trips, kayaking, and a fjord beach with a diving board. In short, a great spot if you love nature, with mountains and fjords. The cottage was peacefully situated, very spacious inside and out, and fully equipped. Highly recommended.

A very good apartment with a beautiful fjord view and all amenities. An exceptionally friendly welcome, complete privacy, comfortable beds, and wonderfully quiet. Parking is available on-site. Stranda is a charming, well-located village with authentic restaurants and two supermarkets. Ferry connections are excellent, and road access is also easy.

Great location. Lovely food! Had booked a double room but the room was only made up for one person? Was told to clean it up myself, duvet and pillow were ready on a shelf :-( Room cleaning was sloppy.

We were upgraded to a different accommodation - Stranda Fjellgrend - as our original choice turned out to be unavailable. We were informed about the change weeks ahead of our arrival and everything went smoothly. The new accomodation was a beautifully located, cozy and comfortable cabin. There was a fully equipped kitchen annexe with a full dining table and a big living room with a fireplace. We could also enjoy our morning coffee with a view of the mountains, thanks to a table outside.

Everything was nice. Quiet and tidy, the owners were nice and helpful if I had questions or I needed help with something they were quick to answer. All the everyday appliances are there. Good place to stay if someone is going to stay for ski senter in stranda or is planning to take some tour guides for some days😉 perfect place for a pair or two people.

A true gem I found while driving through fjords. This is an independent from the main house flat arranged in Scandinavian style. It has all you need plus a view on the river and fjord. I wished I could have stayed here longer. Stranda is a nice village.
