Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! The setting of the lodge is amazing! Beautiful forest sounds and really clean air. It it a very tranquil place. The family are extrememly helpful and accomodating. The jeep and walking safari were great. Bishnu is an incredible guide with a wealth of knowledge.

Incredible stay, Hari the host and guide is exceptional. I did a two day walking safari and saw loads of wildlife, it felt like an authentic jungle experience away from the over touristic areas. The food is great and the atmosphere around the Homestay is really nice. Would of loved to of stayed longer.

Such a beautiful home with the perfect balance of home like but still good facilities like a hotel. You get brought into the family and end up staying much longer than you originally thought you would , highly highly recommend and I will be returning in the future without a doubt. Good value for money and very cool walking safari, but honestly I could’ve just stayed at the house for a week. Great time

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during the monsoon season. It was perfect. This is a hidden gem 💎. Peaceful, beautiful and the employees were so kind and professional. We did one safari walk each morning and an afternoon drive. Absolutely amazing. Our 13 year old wanted to move to Nepal and live at the Sanctuary resort. As much as I would prefer to keep this peace of paradise to myself, I would definitely suggest to stay here.

I didn‘t know what it means living together in a community but now I know it. I experienced the jungle safari with the jeep and an amazing, english speaking guide, doing some bicycling with the cycles of community members enjoying the sunset at the agriculture, meeting students on the way to school, doing some fishing and collecting snails in the river, eating local food and dancing with the women group. I also enjoyed drinking the clean and refreshing water and taking a shower at the chwadi while talking to the community. The friendly and helpful staff is preparing delicious food by using regional and fresh products.
