The owner was very friendly and helpful. He arranged our activities in Pokhara (e.g. Paragliding, River Rafting, Cable car ride, Sightseeing by taxi). The environment was super good, the room view was good. Had a very good time there. I wish I could stay there for another couple of days.

Everything was excellent. The staff upgraded the room for us, so it's worth the money very much. The location was right at the central area. The breakfast was great with terrific view at the rooftop. We could also leave the luggage here while we went for a 4-day trekking.

Vishnu the owner was very helpful in supporting us with our needs in Pokhara. He was also a very knowledge person with regards to planning our trekking trip in the Annapurna Mountains having been a guide for many years in this region. Our own trekking in the Annapurna region was significantly more enjoyable because of his advice. A friendly relationship with the owner of any place we stay at is one of the most important things for us and Vishnu really felt like a trusted friend.

Pokhara is a great place to visit.

Pokhara is a great place to visit. The place is much cleaner than kathmandu. The scenery of the place is just breathtaking. I liked the lakes including phewa lake and also the mountains. As a muslim I looked for halal restaurants which was not difficult to find. It took about eight & half hours to reach pokhara from kathmandu. Yet, the journey was not tiring coz I enjoyed the sceneries of the way to pokhara. I stayed at hotel Grand Holiday which is in peaceful street. The street is indeed peaceful. There was absolute tranquility around the place which I liked very much. I will always long to be in Pokhara again.

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to...

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to hilltop temples and do some kayaking on the lake. The south side of the lake is much quieter and pleasant walking in the shade of the trees. I was shocked at the amount of litter on the lakeside path by Pokhara. It’s no worse than anywhere else in Nepal but seemed such a shame at an attractive holiday place next to a watercourse. I wish I had taken a bag and collected litter for half hour a day, odd as it would have looked.

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour steep climb rewarded with great views. Recommend Camelia Cafe for gentle relaxing vibe, good food and great service. Boomerang cafe has lovely garden seating with views of the lake, and Nepali traditional dancing at night. Try to get to a sunrise viewpoint about 30 mins taxi ride above the city.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside. A great place to prepare for or relax from a trek. Wonderful contrast to Kathmandu. Roadhouse Pizza is incredible and there is a Spanish restaurant at the Disneyland (really) end of Lakeside that does simply wonderful food.

Pokhara is also an English speaking location. there were many cafes, accommodations, and night clubs amidst the souvenirs shops. and i must say, the local are genuinely so friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. this place has lots of potential as a tourist spot to relax and perhaps grow into a yoga hub.

The hotel is situated on a ridge line above Pokhara with breathing views of the Annapurna range at sun rise and sun set. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Season on the rooftop bar was great! The hotel looks small in comparison to other options in Sarangkot - making it more of an intimate experience. The yoga was complimentary at 6 am, with views of the mountains. The spa offered some very 'Nepalise' options for massage therapy. We would come again.
