We loved the view of Balclutha and the Clutha river, Jodie had supplied us with every thing that we could have wanted, the walk in shower was especially good. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and really felt at home. It was really convenient to explore the southern part of the south island of NZ. Jodie was a wonderful host.

good sized room and it had a laundry. Manager was super friendly and even took my washing out of the dryer, folded it and put it in my room.

Everything was lovely and the views from the unit were amazing. Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

No breakfast included so I am not commenting about that. Although I did see spreads, milk, tea and coffee available which was handy though did not use.

One of the best views in town ;) straight above the ocean and fitted with a real kitchen! Ultra modern. If I could, I would definitely stay longer.
