The garden is impressive. The room is very lovely. There are many details in the room we can feel that they really try to ensure every guest get good rest. Because our stay is also the first day of Chinese New Year, the hostess made us the traditional Chinese cookies. We all really enjoy them, especially my father. We also have a very hearty dinner. We really appreciate their host, which makes our last stay in New Zealand memorable. If we come back to New Zealand, we will definitely visit them again. BTW, their bulldog Pluto is so lovely, will definitely miss her as well.

We were based mainly in Rolleston on a daily basis because the family are there and there are many great cafes, restaurants and things to do there. Lincoln is a little smaller but close to Rolleston.

Lincoln has many different eateries and a supermarket.

Lincoln has many different eateries and a supermarket. Rolleston, a very large town is a few kilometers away. Great access to the Little River Rail Trail for walkers/cyclers. Dedicated bike/walking trail from Lincoln to Rolleston. Peaceful town, well worth staying for a restful break.

It's grown a lot over the years but it's still a lovely place to visit and there are a good selection of excellent takeaway places and places to eat out. Good walks in the area and close to spots like Akaroa and Banks Peninsula.

Big enough to have things to do.

Big enough to have things to do. We saw a weekend Farmers market whilst there on the weekend. Lots of cyclists so there are obviously good trails. There are 2 cafés right beside the motel- both served excellent coffee and food. The university would have been interesting to look around.

The host was very friendly and helpful. She left a treat in the fridge for us. Was always about if you needed to ask a question. The site was perfect for us as our function was handy. We ate at the Famous Grouse Hotel. Very good meals. Chistchurch is not far to travel, say 20 Minutes. If you like the country side, we highly recommend this place. We are sure you will not be disappointed.

The accommodation is perfect.

The accommodation is perfect. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They served homegrown strawberries for breakfast, nothing was lacking, everything was great. The bed and bathroom were excellent; I highly recommend it.

The location was lovely and peaceful. Set on a rural property on minutes from Lincoln township and a close to the university. It has gorgeous gardens . The unit we stayed in was private, spacious , beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and tidy. Tastefully decorated to good quality furniture. David was helpful and friendly. We found this property great value. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to friends/family who visit the area.

The Manageress was really good that she showed us where our rooms were and gave us milk each not that i used mine at all. she turned on the heater for me. Explained the wifi pass word, not that I used it at all. But a good place to stay and I will try again next time I am in Lincoln. And great parking and location.

Loved the Hotel, Better than staying at my Mothers, It's a Better beer at the Grouse lol, Was there for 8 days, I had a car, but left in on the hotel carpark most of the time, Bus stop out side the hotel door, $4 into Christchurch Transit centre, From there you can get to anywhere.
