We liked everything about it! Stayed here for only 1 night unfortunately. The hottub with a fantastic view is a big bonus. Very close to the sea where you can find beautiful stones. Their dog Ohla is very friendly and happy to greet new guests :) The warm welcome from Chrissy and the recommendation for lunch the next day was great. Only 1 guestroom so peace and quiet assured.

We enjoyed the breakfast which showcased Tuatapere honey otherwise was a typical continental breakfast presented well. Tuatapere is a small town so location was fine. Gail was an excellent host and made you feel very at home. She was so helpful (boiling eggs for me and also providing us with an extra room to sort out our luggage and giving us more information about our walk). The private bathroom was appreciated.

It was great to finish the Hump ridge track and stay here. Room was basic, quiet and comfortable. The people running the place are friendly Would stay again and recommend to anyone doing the south track or hump ridge to stay a night either before or after to help rest before they journey off again. They are doing upgrades to the place slowly so in years to come this place will be even better.

Clifden Pitstop is located in Eastern Bush and offers a terrace. This apartment features a garden and free private parking.
