very nice hotel surounded by beautiful tropical gardens. excellent and very welcoming hosts who have great advice what to do in the sourrounding area. delicious breakfasts. we have stayed here for our stay in Panama twice and can recommend the garden view bungalow.

We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.

Great value for money, and a really nice location! Easy to get a water taxi anywhere you need to go. Staff are very friendly and helpful for organising tours, water taxis etc. Small kitchen useful for cooking simple dinners.

We stayed at Eclypse de Mar in one of their hotel rooms for five nights, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The setting is breathtaking—nestled in nature, surrounded by clear waters and lush greenery. The overwater bungalows and the eco-friendly design make the property truly unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed us to completely disconnect and relax. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It felt cozy and in harmony with the natural environment around us. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, whether you’re into snorkeling, hiking, or just soaking in the beauty of Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend Eclypse de Mar to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location on the island. Easy to take a boat and access to others part of the island. Quiet and peaceful place to hear birds, monkeys, sea at night. Carmen and Marcel are great host. Delicious food cooked by Carmen. Really helpful and kind. Peaceful stay with a twist of magic at the sunset.
