We loved absolutely everything about the Mayana Resort. The beautifully decorated rooms, the swimming pool, hospitality and above all the food. Food at the resort is one of the best we have had in the Philippines. They clearly have a very capable chef. The staff also helped change our ferry to a later time at last minute and went out of their way to do that. Similarly, they arranged earlier breakfast for us when we needed to leave early for an excursion. We will be sure to stay here if back in Bohol.

Very clean, stylish room. Nice pool to relax. Delicious breakfasts (I chose the fish). Very helpful staff (you could rent a scooter at the hotel, helped with any questions). The cafe belonging to Anlio Resort has many delicious dishes.

We really enjoyed our stay here - initially we booked for 2 nights, then extended for another 2. The location is nice and quiet and we had beautiful views from our room across the garden and the sea. The place is really well kept, the rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the owners lovely people, too. Breakfast is really nice and dinner amazing. There is a shop with necessities (snacks, beer, water, ice creams....and lots more) and everything is reasonably priced and so are the meals at the restaurant. We appreciated the fridge in the room and when we asked for a kettle it wasn't a problem at all, we were also given cups. We hired a motorbike from the hotel for one day to go exploring, which was great and the going rate of 500 pesos was charged. We were even allowed to use it again the next day to quickly pop into town (thank you! 👍) It's a 15 min walk to the main road from where you can get a Tricycle that takes you into town for 100 pesos.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The view was absolutely beautiful and made our time here feel truly special. The facilities were modern, clean, and fully equipped — everything we needed was there. What stood out the most was Selina’s support. She was always available and incredibly helpful, whether it was arranging a scooter rental or answering any questions we had. Her kindness and reliability made our stay even better. The whole property is clean. There were many reserved/spare linens, bed foams and towels. It has 2 bathrooms. The owner is so responsive with my queries and even accommodating to our super special request. The caretaker also Ate Emy was so warm, welcoming and sweet. The place is safe because it is in a subdivision. You can also use the pool for free.❤️❤️ And the most amazing is, they have complimentary coffee, shampoo, soap and even drinking water stored inside the fridge and is all free of charge. ❤️❤️❤️ Basta super nice jud ang place. 😊😊😊

Really recommend Bohol Farm!

Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice. Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars. Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.

You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in...

You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.

We absolutely love our stay here. From the moment we check in through to the end of our stay. The room is very beautiful. The infinity pool was gorgeous overlooking the ocean.. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is exceptional. To the chef and kitchen staff, a big salute to all of you for the delicious food. I will definitely stay in this hotel when back in bohol.

The best hotel during my stay in the Philippines. It has a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant with very nice places. The atmosphere is very good. The rooms are renovated and clean. The beach is very close (althought the beach is not that nice). Staff is very friendly and the price I paid was excellent.
