I recently stayed at the Banaue Grand View Hotel for two nights and was thoroughly impressed. The views are breathtaking, overlooking the stunning rice terraces, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Although there is no elevator due to local power issues it was replaced by a beautiful spiral staircase that adds charm, and wheelchair access is available on one floor. Overall, this hotel truly stands out as the best in town, making my visit memorable. Highly recommended!

This is Banaue's original backpackers favourite. It has been around for decades, and I stayed here about 30 years ago. The place is still going strong and still run by the same woman. They have kept up with times, and improved a lot, even extended the balcony restaurant which is overlooking the rice terraces. It's a 'one stop shop' with a convenience store, souvenir shop, Guesthouse and restaurant all in one. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had an attached bathroom with a hot shower. Good lightning, window with a view, a fan and good airflow, so my damp clothes could finally dry up. Charging outlets in the room. Excellent WiFi. I came from Batad and there is only 1 Jeepney so I arrived early, but they gave me the room straight away. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and the view from the terrace is incredible. Smoking area as well.

The staff is very kind. The food is really good. It’s near the entrance to Batad, better if you arrive during daylight time. There are no plugs in the rooms in general in Batad but you can leave your devices charging in the common area. Warm shower. The place is clean. Great view.

Staff were amazing; welcoming and so helpful. Comfortable beds and decent bathrooms too. Was able to leave my big kit bag whilst I went on two day trek with just my small bag and also let me use a shower when I returned before my bus. Food very good and cooked fresh fir each person. Staff also made me sandwiches to go for lunch on more than one day. Amazing place to stay in Danaue.

Perfect situaited location with a breathtakeable view. It is not in the middle of the ricefields. That makes it much easyier handeling the luggage ! all the way back to the road where the tryciycles wait to bring you to your next destination. Rose, Anna and the rest of the team were lovely, helpful and the dishes are cooked everyday fresh. warm water: yes Tower for the shower: yes good situaited for sightseeing.

We really had an amazing stay ! Our pick up was planned from the bus terminal and Darwin became our guide for the two days. After 1hour of tricycling you’ll reach the end of the road and a short walk (+-20min) down hill awaits you. You’ll be so warmly welcomed that you’ll quickly forget about it 😉 View is incredible on the rice fields and on the village. They organise walks to several destinations around the village. Food is amazing (even vegetarian friendly) 🤩 try also their fruit smoothies! You can also ask the guide to go to some other sightseeing spots with the tricycle when heading back to banaue! We absolutely recommend this place, we’ve spend an amazing time !

The owners are the best people that you can find in Luzon. Butch and Claire literally saved our holidays, helping us to solve a difficult circunstance. The place itself is in another league compared to the rest in banahue, which is quite rough. If you go to Banaue, don't go to any other place, and if you plan to do the trip on your own, consult them first, as they will give you valuable advise that you can trust - I cannot stress enough how kind and helpful the owners are.
