Very cute place with spacious and comfortable room. AC is really cold and the shared bathroom is big and clean with plenty of water pressure. The hosts are friendly, the dinner is great, well-priced and served right in front of your room😄. There are cold drinks available for very, very fair price. We will come back if we are ever in the area again! Also the cats are adorable.

The breakfast is very good! The family is very accommodating. They helped us a lot in finding our ways to different places. From the airport all the way to the known places of Bohol we were so amazed by the hospitality of the driver and the host. It was really a great vacation for my family! I stayed 3 nights. Clean big room, shower with cold water only, brand new and silent a/c, excellent wifi in the room, water refill system. Small balcony. 2 minutes walking to the center. Excellent motorbikes for rent : 350 php a day. Very quiet location apart from some barking dogs at night (put earplugs). Highly recommended for the excellent value for money. In Loboc nice cruise during 1,30 h. on floating restaurant with excellent buffet for 1'000 php (800 for senior), from 10 am to 2 pm

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our...

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use. We also enjoyed using the paddles and kayaking the river with the equipment the hotel provides.

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch and they are good with reasonable price. We also tried "fireflies tour" at 6:30pm and kayaking at 9am next day, the experience was great too. The rooms are OK. Given the rooms are built on top of swamp, you cannot compare them with rooms in the city.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

The hotel is situated in a nature reserve, by the Loboc River with lots of wildlife on site. A perfect stay for any animal/nature lovers! The room was beautiful overlooking the river, very clean, comfortable and luxurious. The restaurant was excellent, as well as the pool which is overlooking the river. Staff were very helpful and professional. Lots of activities provided by the hotel were available, with plenty to do each day. We didn't feel much need to venture out of the resort!

nice hotel, easy to find with a motor bike. Good location in Loboc, so you can easily do a one day trip by motor bike to Loboc River Cruise, Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, rice terraces, Anda, man made forest, etc. The light in the bathroom of our booked room did not work, so we got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Also the pool in the middle of the hotel is awesome.

The cottages are amazing. It's homey and the feels of being in the countryside made it more like home. Reminds me of the hotels in Bali. Close to the river and they have a river deck where you can spend some quiet time while looking at the river.
