This was a very comfortable room with a really nice balcony overlooking the garden. The kitchen is well equipped (apart from the lack of a hotplate) and even had an air fryer, which was first after cycle touring in Poland for three months. There was a huge bowl of fresh fruit and an automatic coffee machine, all included and the staff were wonderful and really helpful.

I have to say we liked everything about the apartment. The host made it so easy for us with providing all necessary essentials. as water, milk, Salt and pepper, all needed accessories in the kitchen and bathroom. Design was really welcoming and cozy, plus high quality finish. Compostable sofa and bed and really nice specious bathroom. Little sauna in the bedroom was a big plus as well. The host was more than helpful. Thank you so much.

A good apartment in a quiet block next to a beautiful park with a dog playground. A shop is nearby (5 min walk). Some cafes are also around. The owner was a pleasant woman. We had a pleasure staying here with our dog. We traveled during winter and the apartment was very warm

The city itself isn't very interesting, but for those interested in culture, it's a good base: the Museum of Romanticism (Zygmunt Krasiński) in Opinogóra Górna, the Museum of Positivism in Gołotczyzna, the Castle of the Masovian Dukes (a permanent ruin), and the Torus Science Center. Just right for two days.

Historical, but underappreciated.

Historical, but underappreciated. Written sources date back to 1065, the castle was home to Queen Bona and the Masovian dukes. It was here that Zbyszko of Bogdaniec fought a battle with the Teutonic Knight Rotger (Sienkiewicz - Krzyżacy). But only 100 km from the capital, a Pendolino stop, so young people emigrate... There are few historical monuments outside the castle; a beautiful promenade has killed off the shopping and service street.

Ciechanów is a very nice town with a long promenade and the W18 café – I highly recommend it! The Castle of the Dukes of Mazovia is worth a visit! The market square! The Ciechan brewery and beer are on site! Torus Science Park! Maria Konopnicka Park! Nearby is the Museum of Romanticism in Opinogóra and a beautiful, large park with ponds!

Unfortunately, the city is in decline.

Unfortunately, the city is in decline. The square in front of the City Hall, where beautiful trees once stood, has been turned into a concrete pit with a meager fountain. The city's administrators seem incapable of maintaining it. It would be best to concrete it all over and have peace of mind, rather than waste taxpayers' money on EU rags and drape them all over the city. And this is Poland.
