This a lovely well appointed hotel on the edge of Kalix yet within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My single room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. They have a small lounge area at reception with free coffee available. Breakfast was very good with a decent choice of food. They have a restaurant but it wasn’t open during my stay. The car park is adjacent to the hotel . Overall an excellent place to stay.

A lovely well-equipped refurbished old timber house, in a sleepy village just outside of Kalix. A great place for our group of six to rest while travelling between northern Norway and Helsinki - standard as described. Could be a great base for anybody who likes being away from the crowds and wants to explore the area around the north of the Baltic Sea.

I thnik this is the only place where you can eat normal food in Kalix if you don't want to eat fake pizza, kebab, sushi, hamburger or other kinds of junk food. Had a nice dinner, nice breakfast and also nice lunch. Perfect position

Comfortable hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly . Restaurant was busy and food was excellent. Breakfast had plenty of choice
