The owner was very nice to us and it was easy to just ring his dorbell for the key. He also gave us some tips about the area. He even invited us to pick anything that was growing in the garden. The property has a wonderful, lush garden, a small outdoor play area for kids which includes swings, which my daughter loves. The house is so nicely kept, the veranda towards the garden was a great place to relax and look at the lake and beautiful garden plants. Great privacy due to all the plants :) Inside, the little kitchen has everything you could need, there are a lot of interesting games in the living room and the bathroom is clean and has a window, so it is easy to freshen the air and avoid dampness. The bedroom was enough for us 3 and my daughter loved the bunk bed, of course. We still needed a bit of heat and there was no problem, the elements worked very well.

This was such a beautiful little place to stay. So peaceful and relaxing, in a nature reserve and a few minutes walk from the Baltic Sea. Anki and Ulf were fantastic hosts, even picking us up from and dropping us back at the train station as we had no transport. We had food and drink left for us so didn’t have to buy much. So thoughtful. It’s also not far from Kolmården zoo, which I recommend visiting. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Animal experience, Dolphin show, rides and bamse world overall a nice fun day. Plan your stay so that you don't spend time in Q. Book animal experience in advance. Carry food and water, its expensive in park.

Very good zoo with lots of animals, safari ride, amusement...

Very good zoo with lots of animals, safari ride, amusement park, delphin show and huge roller coaster. All included in the ticket. Definetly worth the 2-day ticket. We spend 8 hours in the park both days.Lots of different dining options too.

The place was such that we will definitely come back to...

The place was such that we will definitely come back to explore the destination again. The place felt child-friendly, relaxed and there was plenty to do even after visiting the animal park. A plus is the shop nearby, which makes it easy to save on food costs.

We spent 2 days at Kolmården Zoo.

We spent 2 days at Kolmården Zoo. Absolutely perfect for the children who were 2,3,5 years old. The first day we went to Bamselandet, the cable car and saw all the animals. Day 2 we went to Bamselandet and then the dolphin show. At the end of the day we could go as much as we could in Bamse's World as there were hardly any queues. The children were super happy and tired after 2 days.

A nice place to wander around on your own without stress and...

A nice place to wander around on your own without stress and hustle. The Safari cable car was an experience. This was our third visit but the first without children and it was a completely different experience. Absolutely no complaints about the children but this time the visit was more stress free and therefore more interesting.

changed to a luxury cabin for one more night, after 2 nights in a villa caravan, which had bad mattresses, everyone had back pain, luxury cabin with king mattresses, large balcony !! everything was there, what a veranda facing the sea, expensive, but the nicest I have seen. accommodating and friendly staff

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. The property appeared to be newly built with modern furnishings, having an ideal layout for a family. The cleanliness and organization of the space were impressive. We were especially pleased with the selection of toys and books for the kids, which kept our toddler happily occupied. The location is superb, conveniently close to the station, grocery stores, and Kolmården. We're looking forward to returning in the future.

Lovely little cabin with enough beds for a large family. Bunk beds were sturdy and safe. Parking space right in front and 5 min drive to Kolmården. Clean and cozy with freshly renovated surfaces. More spacious than it appears. Easy communication with the hosts.
