Peaceful, scenic, rustic cabin with stunning views. Its interior design was a delight to experience, although it may not suit everyone. It also had a variety of outside areas in which to sit and relax. We were sad to leave, but fingers-crossed we’ll be back!

The house is lovely and looks exactly as you see on the pictures. Michelle is a great host and communication with her was very easy. The location is fantastic with the lake nearby and easy to get to the train station and into Stockholm. We loved it and will hopefully be able to come back for a longer stay some time.

Location of the hostel was perfect and quite big parking area helped me a lot to have a really pleasant stay in Sigtuna. Wi-Fi network worked properly so I could watch either TV or TV series on different streaming platforms.

I stayed at the hotel for only one night. I really liked the free shuttle service that was provided. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great — close to both the airport and the center of Märsta. The bus stop was also very near the hotel. The guy at the reception was very friendly and answered all my questions. I left my luggage in the luggage room and went sightseeing because I arrived before 15:00. I came back around 19:00, checked in, and checked out the next morning at 08:40 after breakfast. I left my luggage again in the luggage room before heading out. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of meals. Overall, it’s a great choice for a one - or two-night stay or for a business trip.

The town is cosy, but not so much to see.

The town is cosy, but not so much to see. One day is more than enough. Two of two restaurants we visited were both horrible, so watch out! Order less, taste it first! The lakeside is very nice and there is a wonderful playground for children.

Obviously close distance to Stockholm and to the Arlanda...

Obviously close distance to Stockholm and to the Arlanda Airport are main advantages of Sigtuna. What is more, Sigtuna is the eldest Swedish town so it makes Sigtuna even more prestigous place in Sweden. In addition, located by The Malaren lake Sigtuna is absolutely fine place to visit on weekend.

If you like history Sigtuna has a number of interesting...

If you like history Sigtuna has a number of interesting attractions. Stora Gatan is the oldest street in Sweden. In addition, there are a number of runestones around the town. There is a map of the runestone locations near the museum so that you can locate them around town. The local bakery is wonderful.

Sigtuna is amazing, it is a small town so you can defenitly see all of it in one day, but it is absolutely worth going there. It is the oldest town in Sweden and has a very rich viking history. The town is still the way it was 1000 years ago!! Around the little town are very old rune stones that are absolutely worth seeing, also beautiful viking ruins. I would also recommend the Sigtuna museum for some great viking history and very interesting information about Sigtuna in olden times. If you are curious about viking life..sigtuna is the place to be!

Hotel very clean. Good breakfast. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were spending the following day in the town and the hotel were happy for us to leave our bags in their luggage room until we were ready to travel onward in the evening. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town but Sigtuna is very small so it is only a 3 or 4 minute walk and you are in the centre.

Charming hotel located very close to the lake, next to the museum and at the end of the main pedestrian street of Sigtuna. Great breakfast. I also recommend having dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. Friendly staff.
