Really welcoming staff, who were very helpful and forgiving of the mess made by our kids! There is good space for children to run around and explore, and a stunning beach with good waves for swimming. Food was good, staff were really helpful. Pool is shaded most of the day.

Very lovely little quiet beach side retreat. A family run business and Pranee will do anything for anyone. The room was lovely and clean with a comfortable big bed. I felt very safe here by myself. I had the garden room which was set back a bit from the rest of the buildings so as a solo female may be sensible to upgrade a bit to one of the ‘sea view’ rooms. Pranee helped arrange a snorkelling trip to Ko Pah which was stunning. It’s 3000THB for the trip so worth sharing the cost between some friends. Would definitely come back again and wish I had more time here.

Local right near the pier. The boat driver and taxi brought me from the Koh Phra Thong. They rang the phone number, a guy came and made the bed. Handed me the key. Seen a lady yesterday asked for money that l owed. That was it , staff not needed.

In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

Ko Kho Khao is a stunning island with the most amazing beaches that I have seen anywhere. At the time we visited, the island was quiet and if you saw 2 other people on the beach as you at the same time - you were doing well. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Recommend having your own transport like scooters so you can explore the island and get around.

The island is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet; it's not overcrowded and has largely escaped mass tourism. The 10 km long sandy beach is simply idyllic for a stroll. It's a truly cozy and beautiful island, yet still quite unspoiled.

Everything is simple and natural – no concrete blocks. The resorts are all relatively small and not close together, making long beach walks of several kilometers easily possible. Very nice, friendly people; nobody tries to rip you off. Breathtaking sunsets.

Great resort in perfect seclusion, a wonderful big and well equipped bungalow right on the enormous sandy beach. We were recommended to go by someone who knew we liked quiet places and that’s what you get. There’s nothing to do and nowhere to eat besides the hotel but for us that was perfect. A word on the restaurant too, we found all the food was really good and the staff (in the whole resort) were exceptional. Kho Khao doesn’t really seem to be on the tourist map yet so if that’s what you want…

Very nice bungalows, everything was perfect and very clean. No mass tourism. You have your own house. The beach is very nice, also there was a breakfast buffet, plenty of food. Stuff is very friendly. Very calm and perfect to relax. It was a little bit to calm for us. There were no other buldings, restaurants or bars close to that beach. Kho Kho Kao island is far away from mass tourism. Its good if you want to relax. We will come again.

We liked everything, starting from the moment of check-in. It was very quiet and soothing, just what we wanted from our holiday in Thailand. The staff were very kind and attentive to all of our wishes and requests. Will definitely return for a longer stay in the future as the island is a great place to relax and unwind from a busy city life. The pool at the villa was perfect for us. Recommended for both families and couples!

AMAZING staff, super clean, the position is excellent. Is it a bit expensive to arrive here, you would need to take a taxi from khao lak to the Pier (600baht), then a long boat (30baht) then another taxi (300baht), bare in mind that the last ferry is at 5.30pm. This place is a dream, so the journey is totally worth it.
