Really cozy place to stay and chill. The room was lovely and a traditional Thai breakfast was provided every morning along with bottles of water for the day. The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.

The guest house is located in a fishing village on the shore. The room had a cozy terrace where we met sunrises and relaxed before going to sleep. We really liked that the room had a stunning sea view because we felt a connection with nature. This created a wonderful atmosphere during the stay. Staff was very friendly, they helped with transport and gave advices on what to see. We spent 5 unforgettable nights in the village. In our opinion, this is the best option for accommodation in a fishing village on this island. The owner responded kindly and quickly to all our requests, providing a wonderful place to stay and enjoy nature, sea and food

the location was fantastic..such a peaceful corner of the island. There is a creek behind the Bungalows, which gave some nice cooling in the night. The Bungalow was spacious and with lots of windows on both sides so a nice breeze could go thorough. We recommend Bungalows 21-24 at the end of the row..the beach is just in front, swimming is nice and you can snorkel around. The corals are mostly dead, but there are lots of fish around and we even saw a turtle.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They prepared a nice breakfast for us. The homestay was placed in a small fisherman village far from tourist beaches. Just what we were looking for after being in other too touristic areas.

Koh Libong is a sleepy little island that you can explore in a day. Motorbike is the best way to get around (200 baht) from local village store. it has a relaxed vibe and the locals are lovely and friendly. there are no crowds, no hustle, no bustle… just a laid back island which is like going back in time. Take the bike and visit the Dugong viewpoint, Leekpai bridge and the tower.. head to the main village and enjoy an iced coffee with the locals.. go to the stone bridge and the beach beyond to see the true beauty of the island… with the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair, a motorbike ride around the island is a must…

It's not walkable from pier to resorts or attractions, but motor-taxis are readily available and inexpensive (or you can rent your own motor bike), and the locals are friendly, quiet and respectful. Great 'diamond in the rough' island!!

I stayed here 20 year’s ago so was expecting a lot of change. Very little has changed except the new paved road through out the island which is great,especially when raining. It’s definitely underdeveloped still but there are resorts but quite spread out. A natural tropical delight with a really nice,friendly village in the middle. So relaxed and I would definitely recommend it to people who like nature stuff.

A relatively quiet island for relaxation.

A relatively quiet island for relaxation. Beautiful beaches, very friendly people. Contrary to reports, there is quite a bit of trash. A moped is a good way to get around. There's a beautiful viewpoint reachable on foot through the jungle.

A beautiful green town, the beaches aren't necessarily...

A beautiful green town, the beaches aren't necessarily pretty, but it's worth a visit for its peace, quiet, and sparse tourist population. I recommend renting a scooter and driving around the entire island. The Andalay Hotel is a wonderful place with everything you need – perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Like Koh Mook, Koh Libong remains relatively untouched by...

Like Koh Mook, Koh Libong remains relatively untouched by tourism and therefore authentic. There isn't a lot to see, but it's ideal for relaxation. The beach is beautiful, but the water isn't as vibrant as Koh Bulon or Koh Lipe. It's a nice place to stay for a few days.

The couple running the hotel were so helpful and kind, the husband spoke excellent English and he also rented us a moped! Location is not a far walk from a few restaurants and a couple of shops, but for beaches and the activities on the island you will need a moped! Air con was excellent
