We were very happy to have a vacation in Joon Cunda. They made us very happy with their quality service understanding and friendly staff. The cleanliness of our rooms was very good. Their breakfast was very nice. We spent most of our time in the garden, especially in the very large pool. It made us comfortable to have a closed parking lot. We reached the beach on the island of Cunda in a very short time by walking. The staff was really friendly. Location we woke up in the most beautiful place on the island, with a magnificent view.

Cantekin, the General Manager of D-Resort, sets the tone for a stay where genuine warmth meets flawless precision. Staying here feels like stepping into Switzerland – everything is finely tuned like a Swiss watch, yet it unfolds on Turkey’s breathtaking Aegean coast. We stayed in a spacious bungalow: sound‑insulated, comfortable, peaceful. We asked for an extra mattress and received a full, high‑quality one — it transformed our living room into a second bedroom. Every request was met with kindness and care. The food was a highlight: fresh, generous, and soulful. Local fish and ultra‑sweet watermelons were unbelievable delights. Breakfasts with hand‑selected ingredients felt indulgent and heartfelt. Live music over the weekend added warmth without noise. The grounds are immaculate – green lawns, hammocks, clean pathways, and a gently sloping, crystal‑clear beach. The sea breeze is invigorating. If I could suggest one upgrade, it would be natural down pillows like those at Sofitel — to complete the luxury. D‑Resort Ayvalık is among the best resort stays I’ve had, rivaling Park Hyatt Saadiyat. Deep thanks to Cantekin and the team. We’ll return soon.

Beautiful place in the heart of Ayvalik. I truly recommend this hotel. The family rooms we got were interconnected with a door, bathroom and the room very clean, staff attentive, breakfast really nice. A very comfortable stay. I would stay again with a family.

Cunda Island was a pleasant surprise for us, to which we have been returning for four years in a row. Lovely cobbled streets, beautiful houses and small family hotels, excellent food in the restaurants (I would especially praise their starters), friendly locals and perfect public transport by dolmus which works flawlessly. The climate in September (when we usually come) is perfect, so it is highly recommended.

I stayed for a day and then took the ferry.

I stayed for a day and then took the ferry. The hotel was excellent, the town is very lively and full of restaurants. It seems quite expensive, however. It's a breezy place, so despite the dry heat, it's nice.
