Great location close to beach and good restaurants. We had a charming room in this renovated old Ottoman house. We were offered a choice of room on the top floor and took the garden facing one with the very small bathroom. We found the bathroom manageable for us and liked our room but if you prefer a bigger bathroom the road facing room at the top is the one to request. We communicated via booking messages and found the management very helpful. We asked for a room service on the 3rd day of our stay which was done. We also asked to use the washing machine and line and this was provided free of charge. Also free parking was provided. Great value for Amasra.

Excellent hotel with good clean rooms, very nice and plentiful breakfast and exceptionally helpful reception staff who spoke good English and shared suggestions what to do/visit in the area. The location was fabulous, in the real historic heart of Amasra. Room was quiet and spacious, and, exceptionally for Turkey, did NOT smell of cigarette smoke.

If you need a place in Amasra go there, you will love it. It is situated up on a hill with stunning view on the Black Sea coast about 2.5 km from the city centre. But even if you don't have a car it is easy to reach. You can either take a taxi or one of the hourly Minibusses. As soon as you enter the hotel you will feel at home. Mehmet and his wife Ceyla and their daugthers are amazing kind, warmhearted and hospitable people. No matter if you need help or advice they are there and always up to help and support. What ever time of the day you are coming they will welcome you with a cup of tea. Ceyla is an amazing cook and you will get a taste of it if you have breakfast with different kind of pastries, cake and jam. The variety of the breakfast is great and everything is freshly prepared. During season Mehmet is offering his guests freshly picked figs from the tree close by. Also all the stuff members in the house and kitchen are outstanding friendly and kind. The atmosphere in the whole house is just very friendly and peaceful. The house does have no elevator but they are helping you with carrying bags upstairs. The rooms are great. Like everything in this place the rooms are spotless clean. The beds are comfortable, there is a hair dryer available and on the balcony there are chairs and a table and the possibility to hang some laundry for drying. There was not one thing I missed during my stay. I enjoyed my four days at Ceylin hotel thoroughly and can't wait to return. I came as a guest and when I left it felt like leaving friends. It’s a very convenient little flat in the center of Amasra. Our host was very kind and flexible. We really appreciated that he picked us up and told us where to park. Loved the cute view from the kitchen as well. Would certainly recommend it!

Great location, easy walk from bus station. Room is quiet and clean, great blockout blinds, comfortable bed with nice bedding, supermarket 2mins away. Amasra sites and shopping 5mins walk. Perfect place to stay.

Gem of a place in the middle of the city. Very friendly and helpful host. Old building but well kept. Room was well equipped but compact. Great evening meal with local wine. Good breakfast.

Wonderful hotel on the water at the quiet end of town. Staff were excellent and obviously well trained. Breakfast was great. Our room was right on the sea front with a balcony. There are 6 of the rooms. Others are closer to the pool. Loved it all.
