Westdoor Hotel is placed at the heart of history. A distinctive facet that distinguishes this establishment is its remarkable staff. The personnel exhibited a level of hospitality that was truly extraordinary, cultivating an environment akin to a refined home away from home. The reception staff, with their affable welcomes, adeptly facilitated a seamless check-in process, supplementing it with insightful guidance for the exploration of the city's cultural and historic riches. Throughout my stay, the staff's meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach became evident. The housekeeping team upheld an unwavering standard of cleanliness, while the concierge consistently demonstrated an unparalleled proficiency in tailoring recommendations for local attractions and dining options to my discerning preferences. The culinary team at the hotel's restaurant SEMPRE warrants special commendation for their adept presentation of local gastronomy. Their enthusiastic commitment and erudition about the culinary offerings elevated each meal to a delightful and memorable occasion. Also loved lab. of the coffee. Espresso Lab is my best choice. What truly left an indelible mark was the authentic care exhibited by the entire staff. It is a rarity to encounter a team so resolutely committed to ensuring guests not only feel welcomed but also profoundly valued! In summation, this Edirne establishment transcends the definition of a mere accommodation; it is an experience sculpted by an exemplary staff. This was a fantastic place to stay. Everything was spot on. Check-in was super organised with all the relevant information covered off. Xacan-Ugur on reception was particularly helpful. Nice, spacious and modern rooms. Free parking available on the street around the hotel. Excellent breakfast in the hotel before we left. Great value for money.

The hotel is very well located in a quiet environment in downtown Edirne, a 5-minute walk from the main pedestrian thoroughfare full of shops, and close to all the city's attractions. The room is large but cosy, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped with all necessary amenities. The breakfast is varied and tasty, with a lot of local products. The staff is extremely kind, competent and helpful.

This is a very old crossroad, market city.

This is a very old crossroad, market city. There are many historic sites to visit but they are mostly mosques. If you are into shopping - this is fine place for it but be prepared for big brand knock-offs everywhere. Traffic can be ridiculous.

The location is great, close to markets and main pedestrian...

The location is great, close to markets and main pedestrian area with shops. The rooms are renovated, clean and cosy. The stuff is helpful and kind. Parking in front of the hotel was guaranteed. Although the hotel is in a busy area, and kids are playing in a yard outside and the birds are non-stop singing in all the trees around, actually the stay was nice and peaceful. We will visit again and bring our friends for sure.

The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here.

The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here. Unfortunately not much is preserved today. During my visit most of the historic sites were closed for restoration. The ethnography and health museum were interesting. The local food is very good and affordable. You can walk around everywhere, city is full of tourists.

Helps you understand the history of the region a bit better. The famous mosque by Sinan is amazing from the outside.. However the inside is under repair, you can't see much and it looks like it will take a few years to finish..

Good hotel, very clean, room had everything one could need for short stay, secure ample parking at the back of the hotel and finally great Turkish breakfast that can get you going for considerable time.

You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the...

You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the Selimiye Mosque. You must also visit the Mosque itself, the Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum and have a walk around the town. Don't be fooled by the "low prices". They are not low anymore. If you want to buy a good value for money products go to the large supermarkets. Don't buy cheap items from the local street market. Most of them are not good at all.

I was looking for a transit hotel, meaning one close to main roads, and also a place where you can have a glass of wine or a beer after a long journey, which can be difficult in Edirne. After 10 o'clock, you can't buy alcohol unless you find a hotel that's mostly for travelers / foreigners. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. In spite of the fact they have loud music (it was Saturday), you can't hear it from the rooms, which was great!

The hotel surprised us in a very nice way! It's a walkable distance from the city centre and there's enough spots on the street where you could leave your car worry-free. What made us enjoy our stay the most was the lovely staff members who made sure that we're properly taken care of! This hotel made our trip to Edirne even better so we highly recommend it :)

The hotel is super clean and neat. Stuff was very helpful and smiling all the time - ready to assist with our questions. We checked in early which was very convenient! Breakfast was also very delicious, coffee was also good. Definitely my place to stay in Edirne for the next time , too :)

The rooms are specious and very clean and the hotel is really close to the mall in Edirne and the center. We had all necessary amenities in the bathroom which is always a plus and the blackout curtains were also a great touch.
