Nice place to visit, but don't bother staying overnight if...
Nice place to visit, but don't bother staying overnight if you enjoy travelling around many different places. We stayed 2 nights and were back in Taipei by mid afternoon of checkout day. I recommend having a car/bike because walking around mountainous areas is tiring, especially when it's raining. Food here is excellent.

We really only walked to old town one day as we spent a lot...
We really only walked to old town one day as we spent a lot of time in the hotel and in the hotel spa. However, in one day we in the village we had great street food, took a tram up the mountain, took a vintage train ride, went for a long walk, and we loved our hotel Volando Urai.
We didn't get a chance to go to the indigenous museum which looked great. We will visit Wulai again!

the room is so spacious! the view is amazing! above all, staff there are so friendly and very helpful!
my son had some puffed eye right when we were going to bed. The hotel manager arranged a taxi for us to the hospital which is 15-20 min away. then he followed us and stayed with us the entire time to help with communicating with the hospital staffs and to make sure we are ok(from 11pm to around 2 almost 3am). we are so thankful! Definitely coming back when we come to Taiwan again

Great hotel in a lively position, the river passing just by the side, the main road with restaurants and shops on the corner. Nice view from the rooftop restaurant and amazing hot springs spa.
I would definitely stay there again if I go to Taiwan in the future.

I was fully satisfied with my stay and will be glad to stay there again. The hot spring bath was large, the aircon just right, the view lovely, and the WiFi very fast. I couldn't reasonably have asked for more.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is next to the convenience store and near the shopping street. The appearance and decoration of the hotel looks new and clean.
