The Gatlinburg inn was wonderful and perfect location. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions. This is the best hotel we have stayed at. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great. Check in was smooth and easy as well as checking out.

Myself and mum visited here for one night whilst in Gatlinburg. The property is amazing and the fires were a brilliant added touch. The cabin was immaculate aswell as the surrounding areas. I accidentally binned a present and they were able to retrieve it for me😊would definitely stay again.

We were welcomed on arrival and was taken to our room we explained were from the uk and was going to dollyworld the following day the manager on the desk (can't remember his name) then said leave it to him and he would arrange to get us there nice and early to beat the crowds which he did he then offered to arrange for us to get back to knoxville airport which he never had to do we were so grateful this saved us a lot of stress you must stay here if visiting gatlinburg it's location is great and you might even get to se the odd BEAR 🐻 or 2 the only suggestion I would make is put a few hangers in the room for your clothes to hang on see picture gatlinburg itself has got loads to see and do and pigeon forge is not to far away on the trolly the trolly is free to use in gatlingburg but there is a small fee to use in pigeon forge there are a few shops just over the road from the hotel for essentials and lots of shops and restaurants in gatlingburg we would definitely return to this hotel on our next visit

If you like "tourist towns" with nothing but little shops to buy those cutesy items to show "I was there" then Gatlinburg is for you. It's redeeming quality is that the main road East is also the entrance to the National Park. Small streets, lots of people and an awe that wears off quickly.

Lots to see, easy access (but very slow - see traffic issue below) to Smokey Mtn Park. Walking distance to a lot of fun stuff. Traffic was HORRIBLE (mid-October). We live in a resort area as well with really, really bad summer traffic (Lake Tahoe), but this was so much worse, which is why we walked everywhere......

Same shops one after the other.

Same shops one after the other. Miss the old Gatlinburg with crafts shops and craftsmen. Now just a bunch of TShirts and bars. Old charm has left. Parking was ridiculous at $20/day. Crowded and noisy. Ober Gatlinburg main ride was closed.

Was there for the chile cook off. The ticket line was so long for several hrs. We never got a ticket.. was very disappointed. You definitely need another system. We are seniors and there was no way we could have stood in line that long. Prepaid maybe? Or several places to purchase.

We went during the fall leaves period and there was bumper...

We went during the fall leaves period and there was bumper to bumper traffic...very crowded and traffic on the main road through Gatlinburg traveled at a snail pace--you could have walked faster. Pigeon Forge was better so we spent more time in that area since the two shows we had tickets for were there. We wanted to eat dinner in Pigeon Forge at the Old Mill Restaurant and the waiting time at 4:30 was already an hour+ and very pricey. They call out your name instead of giving you a buzzer so you had to hang out nearby. There are a lot of shows in Pigeon Forge. Mainly shops and restaurants in Gatlinburg and very little parking. Carr's Cottage was not walking distance from the main street but there was a back way we traveled to get to Pigeon Forge.

Gatlinburg was beautiful. Not what I expected. They've done a great job coming together. The people are fantastic. The photo ops all around the areas are amazing. It is definitely for the visitor. The terrain is amazing.
