This was a last minute booking, due to a change in our journey through Oregon. And what a lucky day when we did! This place is so beautiful, the setting is stunning, the room was perfect, Erin and the team were outstanding. The inn has private access to the beach and a terraced garden with wonderful views. You can enjoy a glass(or two) of complimentary local wine and just relax, breathe and really enjoy yourself. We had a fab walk to the Umpqua lighthouse after a great breakfast and checked out feeling this was a real highlight of our trip

This was the best hotel on our road trip! The guy at the reception (so sorry I forgot the name) was so nice. The room was so cozy with the fireplace, the hammock and the chill music, the beautiful view of the small harbor. Everything is set up for sustainability and it was also the only hotel we stayed in where we could drink our coffee from real mugs. There was a yoga room and even board games. You can walk from the hotel the stairs down to the harbor, 2minutes. We absolutely loved that hotel!!!

The room was great and the kitchen very well equipped. The view of the beach was fantastic. You could lie in bed and watch the ocean. The staff recommended restaurant in Newport was very good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and rice.

The view is great, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. We did not see any whales, not even on a whale tour so that might be a trick to lure tourists. But we saw seals and others in the harbor.
