Dansereau House is a unique place, an old home with a lot of history and interesting architecture. We needed a room last minute in Thibodaux and stumbled upon their last free room without doing much research before booking: it was a great surprise! The room was clean and comfortable, the location is perfect as it's right in the middle of the historic district. We chose not to have breakfast but we appreciated the free coffee and tea. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah right outside the room!

Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel. - free parking - free breakfast - swimming pool - restaurant & bar - spacious lobby - five minute walk to historic downtown

A perfectly functional hotel a couple of miles from downtown. The staff were most helpful, my room was fine and breakfast (a simple but adequate buffet) did the job well.

Nice and clean hotel. Has a business center where you can print. Comfortable and cozy room. Comfortable bed.
