Nice town great selection of shops not too ,much traffic didn't see a lot of homeless great places to eat love the discount grocery best place to shop don't have a Walmart though you have to drive almost 20 miles for one

I didn't spend much time in Twentynine palms, I was camping...

I didn't spend much time in Twentynine palms, I was camping at Joshua Tree but needed a night in a hotel at the end of my stay. Dinner at the 29 Palms Beer Co. Highly recommended. Personable bartender (ish I remembered his name), great food and beer.

This was such a Great Getaway!

This was such a Great Getaway! Everything was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful in every way. It was a Unique Experience with an outside deck and fire pit. Plus, very close to Joshua Tree National Park and restaurants just around the corner. Thank you all for everything.

Enjoyed stay in 29 Palms very much, more than I had planned for. We had good food at the Pie in the Sky Pizza place and at 29 Palms Inn. Also did a little shopping at The Rock House and visited several street vendors. Joshua Tree National Park was wonderful. Absolutely beautiful. Had no idea rocks could be so fascinating. We did a little hiking in the morning and then stargazed in the park at night. We also attended an art exhibit at the Glass Outhouse. It was really fun and so much to see. We even used the glass outhouses. Yes, they do exist.

I can't say that I would ever visit Twentynine Palms again...

I can't say that I would ever visit Twentynine Palms again unless I was intending to go to Joshua Tree National Park, or my car broke down and was forced to stay. It's a pretty rough dry place with not much happening. We visited the actual 'Twentynine Palms' administration visitor centre site and it was quite a disappointment. Mostly closed and not very well maintained. This place could be a real jewel in the crown for the town.

Great launching pad for trips into Joshua Tree.

Great launching pad for trips into Joshua Tree. Quieter than the town of Joshua Tree at the other end of the park. Some great places to stay and some good restaurants. Kitchen In The Desert being my favorite restaurant in the area.

1) Ran out of towel 2) give us hand towel which looks like floor rug 3) hair in bath tub shower 4) the room smell of smoke and is unbearable - the room we have shows a no smoking sign 5) didn’t allow us to change room and claim that it is fully booked 6) the smell is so bad that it is hard to get to sleep. Overall, worse motel/hotel I have stayed in my entire life.

The location right in front the North gate of Josua Tree NP was perfect for us The hotel is more or less brand new. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean and quiet and the breakfast very good. We tried as well the gym and we liked it. Unfortunately the pool and the jacuzzi were closed

Directly at the Highway could have been loud but wasnt. Excellent starting point for Joshua Tree National Park. A bit to drive to the Center but you'd always need a car anyway. 24h front desk ist very helpful

It is a wonderful house on a beautiful location near Joshua Tree Park. It was spotlessly clean, with an amazing hottub, kitchen with all the amenities and would be absolutely perfect for four people.
