It's an awesome place. It's a pity i only stayed for a night. I should have stayed a bit more. The guide to stargazing was so passionate about the stars. It was fantastic seeing them from the naked eye and of course with the aid of the telescope. It's my first time to see Jupiter and Saturn. Wow! I love it!

What a wonderful stay we had sleeping in a yurt at Wander...

What a wonderful stay we had sleeping in a yurt at Wander Camp. Everything was clean in the yurt and bathrooms and around the grounds outside. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the communication were received on our phones prior to our stay was excellent and appreciated...very quick to reply. We Would highly recommend staying at Wander Camp near the Grand Canyon!

Its isolated. 30 minutes from everywhere.

Its isolated. 30 minutes from everywhere. I would recommend getting a place closer to the grand canyon, spend a little more money and you'll have more to do. We actually left early because we had our kids and there wasn't much to do in Valle.

Valle, also known as Grand Canyon Junction, is at the...

Valle, also known as Grand Canyon Junction, is at the intersection of two roads, each of which can connect Valle with Flagstaff. There is not much in the town, but it's about half way between Tusayan (touristy area near Grand Canyon) and Williams (small town on Rt 66, with typical funky shops, good restaurants, supermarket, etc).

The place is quiet and beautiful.

The place is quiet and beautiful. The tents were comfortable but would have needed new mosquitos nets. The real problem was the bathrooms. Just 4 showers/toilets working for the whole camp, which was full when we were there. Only one van, unclean and very very smelly. We arrived an hour early (sometimes it's difficult to plan exactly). We were ok to wait but the receptionnist gave us the access to the tents while beeing extremely rude, making us not welcomed at all...

The IMAX Theatre was great, Going a few miles to the Grand Canyon Visitors Center was cool, and interesting. All of the Rim Trails were so nice, clean and had amazing views. June-Aug. is super hot, sunscreen and lots of water needed. The views are worth going anytime. There are many buses to take you to each area if you can't walk a lot. So, anyone can go!

Grubby, broken electrical and plumbing fittings, tired and staff were not good at their jobs, the maintenance tech made issues worse, the front desk staff were unhelpful. A bad experience especially the switcheroo trick

The room was basic but clean, very big and had two queen size beds. This is not a 4 star hotel but we really enjoyed the stay: The bed was comfortable Room was warm Shower was good The staff were helpful and friendly, the lady at the front desk even waited for us after her shift ended. We were about 15 minutes late but still... My only complaint is that we only had one coffee pod for the two of us but that really is the only negative thing I can say about this place. Other than that, we really enjoyed our night.

Comfy bed, good heating, very basic kitchenette with coffee pod machine, microwave and fridge which was enough for us to heat up some dinner and have a basic breakfast in the morning. Location is very close to Grand Canyon NP without the price tag of some of the closer hotels. Great communication and tips from the hosts.
