Williams is a charming old town on Route 66 with shops and restaurants to visit for entertainment. It's a great place to stay before heading into the Grand Canyon the next day. We like the Red Raven Restaurant.

Williams was great and we'll definitely visit again! Bearizona and Grand Canyon Deer Farm were fantastic and we really enjoyed them. The Route 66 area was fun with a lot of shopping and restaurants. Weather was great!

Fun town to walk thru and many places to eat to choose from. Nice weather and attractions to see such as the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and a farm that cares for the elk. Great place to relax after a busy day.

We were excited to travel to Williams.

We were excited to travel to Williams. The downtown loop includes Route 66 stuff and we loved all the history we saw. The town has done a good job of of keeping the legendary road alive. Restaurants were good although we were charged $4 for a glass of water. Didn't go back to that restaurant. Not many activities for older people. Went to Bearizona and it was $35 per person to drive their park. We saw few animals. Very big waste of our money. All in all we spent too many days in Williams. It is for young people who can take advantage of hikibg. We stopped at the Meteour Crater along I-40 after Williams, and it was fantastic. Great for families...this is a must see stop.

LOVE THE CUTENESS OF THE TOWN.

LOVE THE CUTENESS OF THE TOWN. DIDN'T LOVE THE BIG LINES AND HOUR WAITS FOR DINNER. DIDN'T KNOW THAT WE NEEDED RESERVATIONS FOR MOST DINNER PLACES. OTHER THAN THAT, THE TOWN IS VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE.

Didn't stay long enough to comment much. Only there about 12 hours. Walk downtown was pleasant. It appears there are several things to do there. We just stayed overnight to go to the Grand Canyon.

My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williams was notably enhanced by exceptional service and meticulous attention to guest needs. The amenities, such as the pool and hot tub, alongside the comfort of the rooms, contributed to a delightful experience. Its location near local dining options was a plus. Notably, after I left behind two jackets, the owner's kind gesture of mailing them to the Netherlands was remarkable. This hotel comes highly recommended for its commendable hospitality.

The location was great. In the center of Williams, a nice place to stay and visit the Grand Canyon National Park. Even though is about 1 hour from the South Rim Entrance, you won't find the cheapest place closer to the park. It is a nice and quiet place, great if you want just a place to sleep, and recover your energy after a long day hiking in the park.

The room was perfect, clean, and the location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and they also gave us a 10% discount at the nearby Mexican restaurant. The hotel is outside Williams, but this wasn t a problem for us. We enjoyed our stay here.
