We had a lovely day. Big and clean room. The owner suprised us with fresh bread and other breakfast items which were already in the fridge. The ocean is very close so you can hear it when you sleep, really nice experience. Also there is a small tide pool for a swim. We had a nice time and can recommend a stay there. The kitchen is with gas and the electricity is via an inverter so you forget about the load shedding.

This is an amazing apartment, beautifully decorated and has everything you could need for your stay. Hilary is a fantastic host, full of information and always at hand. The location is perfect for accessing the point, the lighthouse, local shops and restaurants (within walking distance). I can’t recommend South Point highly enough.

Agulhas is a quiet beautiful little town with wonderful places to eat and visit. The people of Agulhas are friendly and the sea view is lovely, lots of walking paths and an animal friendly environment. The southernmost point of Africa where the two oceans meet and it is part of the National Parks Council.You'll discover fascinating ecological habitats, shipwrecks, national monuments and signs of ancient settlements in this nature conservation area.

The Lighthouse museum is a must to visit, as is the Africa map at the southernmost tip - hopefully they will cover it in brass as it's degrading. A sunset walk was beautiful in the evening, and the tidal pools warm for swimming.

Surprisingly pleasant, once you orientated yourself harbour in middle, long sandy beach on one side and lighthouse on extreme other, We saw buck on side of the road one evening below the lighthouse, splendid 😀

Cheryl and Alan are wonderful hosts. Tea and coffee on arrival. Quick run down of local attractions. Cheryl booked supper for us. Very comfortable room - everything that we needed was available and in good working order. Breakfast was delicious. Such a lovely couple, really welcoming and helpful.. Would totally recommend a stay here. Would gladly have stayed for longer🙂

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to...

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view. It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

I loved my stay at Agulhas Ocean House. The property is easy to find, beautifully kept and the hosts were lovely. I got all of the information I needed before I arrived and was thoroughly welcomed when I did. My room was large, very lovely and so clean. Agulhas is just walking distance away and I was given tips for enjoying myself when I got there - the tiny pub was a must-visit experience for me! I had a lovely time there. I particularly enjoyed chatting with the hosts too. Great people, great fun! All in

The unit was perfect for us on a quick overnight stay, and is well positioned for walking to shops, restaurants, beach and the lighthouse and boardwalk. It was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable. The little stoep allowed us access to the the sea view and the garden/braai area down below. The host who met us for the key handover was warm and welcoming. Really good value for money.
