Everything. But toping it all was the care and attention that Cobus Spies, the owner gave. I was traveling from Suncity in the northwest province to Richards Bay in LZN and to Middelburg in Mpumalanga to his facility. He kept on checking on my whereabouts to ensure that I had the most convenient check in. Arrived just before midnight and he was still awake to ensure I was alright and Arrived safely. Now that's hospitality industry treatment. I recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort, best facilities and ultimate care for their money!

Travel Lodge is nicely designed, however the furniture, bed and bathroom is horrid. My dogs have better sleep facilities. Definitely not recommended! The description and pics are misleading. We had to cut our stay short without a refund!

It was horrible.

It was horrible. The streets are full of holes, the traffic lights don't work. No restaurants are open after 19:00. Hennies shows that they close at 00h00, but was closed before 10 on Saturday

On the surface Middelburg might look like a featureless town...

On the surface Middelburg might look like a featureless town, however there are many interesting places to visit. I particularly loved the railway station museum and the historic Boer war sites which can be found in the town. the tourist information center was particularly helpful in directing me to these sites.

This is a beautiful big town with all the amenities that anybody might need but with a farm town aura. It is easy to get around the town & there are many good restaurants to choose from. The Mall is great & the town's people are friendly & open-minded.

The guesthouse is very central & easily accessible. I visited with family so I had most of my meals with them. Amanda's gardens are beautiful & I love the view from her porch, it makes you feel welcome & at peace.

The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. The place was beautiful, I truly loved the surroundings it has animals such as Zebras one gets an opportunity to be in touch with nature. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I loved everything about the place and would highly recommend it. If I were to be in Middleburg for a visit , I would definitely book Rustique Boutique Hotel again . I would rate it 10/10.

Amazing stay at Lamor Guest House. We were welcomed very friendly and warm by Dewetia and spoiled with a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room was really spacious and so neat and clean. We would definitely recommend this to anyone passing through to Johannesburg or staying in the area!
