The staff were incredible - so welcoming, made us feel very much at home. We arrived in a storm and they couldnt do enough to try to settle us in and make sure we were comfortable. The room was warm. The food was amazing with beautiful flavours and staying at the Hives was an absolutely incredible experience that I will always keep with me. There were lots of activities to choose from as well. I cannot recommend highly enough - one of the best parts of our visit to South Africa

For a small, single bed room it was still quite spacious, with a wardrobe and desk, and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and the option to order my preferred meal was appreciated, in addition to the lovely buffet. The village had several dinner options, and menus for each were available to peruse before deciding where to go, most were in easy walking distance. It was easy to find and the staff were all lovely.

Our hosts, Jan and Antoinette were very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful accommodation, with everything that we needed to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the breakfast too and the accommodation was very close to a variety of restaurants too. We hope to return there again when we are next in the area.

There was nothing to like about the place,, honestly not as advertised. The outside looks scary, grass is not cut, garden not well taken care of. The WiFi didn’t get to our room. Pillow cases were dirty. No hot water. Sometimes the basin tap doesn’t have running water.

Beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Tsitsikamma Lodge in the forest, stunning accommodation. Storms River Village a must to visit, lovely restaurants and starting point for outdoor activities . Enjoyed the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour, the guides were so friendly, had loads of fun! Marilyn's 60's Diner - lovey restaurant definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to visit the Wolf Dog Sanctuary Would love to have spent more time there to explore the hidden gems.

This quaint little town has so much to offer.

This quaint little town has so much to offer. The access to the forests with its fantastic hikes, loads of other activities and a couple of great restaurants. Marilyn's diner is a must visit if you are ever in this town. The team at the Treetop canopy tours are amazing.

We just Luv this quaint little town, love that it's in the heart of nature yet it still offers fun adventures for everyone! Absolutely love the peace and quiet, the birds, the forest with stunning views from both mountains and sea. The suspension bridge at Stormsrivier Mouth is a Must See to experience. Marilyn's Diner and Tsitsikamma Village Inn & Hotel always worth a visit with great food, excellent milkshakes and of course the Flame Bistro has the best potato wedges, curries, wines and friendly efficient service. Riding a Sedway through the forest is great fun and the Canopy Tour ziplines has breathtaking views and is a thrilling experience!

We were very impressed with the accomodation ito the space, well furnished kitchen with all required appliances, numerous games for bad weather days or evenings and comfortable beds. The provision of solar back-up was a great advantage. Good Wi-fi with further performance upgrades from fiber shortly to be introduced.

The black water tubing must be on every adventurers buket list. I have no words to describe. its just to amazing. Just must do. Loved the inn restaurant and the 60's restaurant. awsome place and every body in town is helpful and friendly.

The property was really lovely and from the moment we arrived the staff were excellent in every way.the location was ideal with just a short walk round the corner to the main village.breakfast was ample and fresh and the rooms very large with a great balcony and shower.we used their onsite restaurant Tsitrus for a takeaway meal and it was delicious definitely would recommend

The overall experience at Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spar was great. The facility is beautiful clean, and the Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Unfortunately, the Spa was fully booked, but they gave us contact details of a Spa 10km's away in Tsitsikamma Village where we went for full body massages, which was super amazing.

The fact that we got immediate attention at reception was a plus since we had just finished bungee jumping, tired and wet. We were shown to our room with top notch professionalism. The room was everything and more. We were happy chappies. Thank you The Village Lodge. We will be back.
