Perfect for night when traveling to Kruger and you want to enter the gate in the early morning. It is really just a couple of minutes drive. The staff was nice and the accomodation had everything we needed for one sleepover. Also very clean.

My best recommendation. The staff were so nice and helpful. Immediately you felt as a part of their family Eg.: When we came back from our first full day safari, they greeted us – with dogs, puppies and all – just to welcome us back. Landlord is a very skilled ranger and gave us a bush-walk, teaching us about the fauna and how it is to share fence with The Krüger. Landlady is a fantastic chef, preparing healthy inspiring dishes and great lunchboxes. Huge room and also a big furnished patio. Bonfire every evening to the sound of zebras or monkeys and a lovely pool to dip into. A perfect spot if you travel in a group and I am sure that singles and couples always will feel included as well.

Shindzela is a tented safari camp, set in a traversing area within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Even better than we thought. The beds are super comfortable and the shower as well. It really feels luxurious, not at all like camping. The staff is amazing and the drives as well, it's clear the guides and trackers really know their stuff. Well be back again, it's an amazing place.
