The property was lovely, clean, comfortable, and secure. The staff were very helpful and respectful. We booked it for the entire Zambia trip and used it as a base while we made short trips to other parts of Zambia. The hospitality was unparalleled. We really enjoyed our stay here. The decor is very beautiful, with art displayed everywhere and unique furniture pieces here and there. The staff was extremely helpful, making our stay very easy. They were all so kind, which I learned is a typical Zambian trait. Food was nice, rooms were heavenly.

I did not have breakfast. In very difficult circumstances where there is power cuts of days sometimes, the management work continually to ensure that power was available most of the time for guests. I will recommend Dover Lodge as a good place to stay, clean, friendly staff and great value for money.
