Staff was simply wonderful. Called in the AC repair person on a Friday night to make sure we could sleep. Restaurant was exceptional

We simply loved the hotel : location, style, staff… everything was just perfect! Mind: without the monkeys and the turtles we would have never made it there; please, do whatever it takes to protect the amazing wildlife surrounding you …

We had the perfect stay at South Gap hotel. I was slightly nervous of the noise levels looking at previous reviews, but with an ocean view room this wasn’t a problem for us at all. The rooms were made up everyday, the bed was huge and comfy and we loved our sundowners on the balcony! The food and drinks were also great. Really can’t fault our stay.

The staff were wonderful, so very attentive and always with a warm smile.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and the sea with little beach was nearby. I loved the place! the rooms were clean and spacious. You can take a taxi or bus to the west for a small price

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. We loved the tradition charm of the property. Staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. The location is superb and facilities excellent. Little touches like afternoon tea by the pool, rum welcome party and Prosecco for my birthday all added to our amazing experience.

This was, hands down, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and we have done lots of traveling. James, his sister and his wife are very kind, welcoming, caring and try very hard to make every guest's stay a pleasure. On the first morning, James greeted us so warmly during breakfast, we immediately felt at home. The whole resort is just amazing. The location is great: right by the ocean, with a fantastic view (the best one we have ever had from a hotel!!) to the sea, in a residential and therefore very authentic (and safe!!) neighborhood, perfectly in the middle to explore the rough east and the smooth west coast. Oistins is just a short drive away. You do not need a car to stay here, even though it is certainly more comfortable to have one. The restaurant and bar staff are equally amazing. Thank you Von and Ronnie for making every evening /night a fun time. During night several security men take care of the guests' safety, which is very good. Guests, who forgot their sunscreen, can borrow one from the hotel, which is very generous. The rooms overlooking the ocean are especially great. We loved how beautifully decorated with various works of art the whole resort and the rooms are. And it is great that the rooms do not have a TV. The food in the restaurant is very good and the cocktails are delicious. Every Saturday there is live music. It is a very calm place, also suitable for single travelers, and since it is a rather small hotel, you easily find yourself talking to other guests and - best case - making new friendships. The pool is great, we could stay by the pool and watch the ocean all day long. This is a very fatanstic and happy place and we would like to thank all the hotel staff there, which really made our Barbedos vacation just perfect.!

The friendliness of the staff was amazing. You felt like you were staying with friends. The room we got had been recently renovated and was very modern, with air conditioning and lots of space. The pool area is also lovely and you can see the waterfront across the road. Lots of great restaurants in the area, as well as onsite.

Great location and hotel, would stay here again. The staff is wonderful and the hotel has everything you need. When I come back I will spend less time away from the hotel, it was that comfortable.

The people, the room, Mayesha made us feel at home.
