Guest reviewThis hotel FAR exceeded my expectations. The staff are SO helpful, friendly and professional. Their staff are outstanding. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and I found the food to be exceptional. We stayed for two weeks. A special mention to Richard who runs the restaurant - this guy is VERY good at his job, showing attention to detail with an exemplary customer service approach. My son also had a minor illness and the hotel doctor was brilliant. I travel a lot with my son, and usually we're ready to leave at the end of the trip, but in this instance we could have stayed another month! I can highly recommend this hotel.

Guest reviewI had a great stay at Kangaroo Hotel. The bed was very comfortable with a big mosquito net, the WiFi was good, and buffet breakfast was nice and big, and I had lots of hot water for showers. Nicky at reception spoke very good English and was really helpful. The location is just a two minute walk from the main market, which is fun to visit. There are lots of taxis nearby to take you around Bujumbura. Highly recommend!
