This is a really great boutique hotel. In particular, the interior design and furnishing is great (slightly bohemian but not exactly). Rooms are quite spacious and there were no issues with noise. I do not think I have ever commented on a hotel room's shower but the shower was amazing. I met the owner during check in and he was very nice and made sure that I am comfortable with my stay

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and several nice restaurants, cafes, and shops are nearby. We had a great stay at Germain's as a base to explore Ganvié. Christopher kept in touch with me before hand suggesting an itinerary to make the most of my stay. The options and pricing were really clear as well as the times. He made the transfers to and from Ganvié really easy. The staff were lovely. The food was great. It was a nice location outside the centre of town. Other hotels seemed more in the town where it was noisy. It's a unique experience and Germain's is the best place to do that.
