Hotels in Botswana

The place is slightly out of town and Google directions were not good, so we got lost at pitch dark 9pm...Phoned the manager, and he drove about 5km to find us on a petrol station?! I mean who does that???!!! Incredible people you Wellington and team! Your help that night was a miracle! And then the staff opens the kitchen and cooks us dinner at 10 pm so we don't have to go to bed hungry! 5 of us! Book the place if you arrive late in Gaborone, but make sure you take the exact location and don't go like me over the off road. Breakfast in the morning and off we went to Nata Lodge. Thank you, thank you, thank you, guys for beeing soo lovely and so carying, we will forever remember you! Xxx

The staff were all very friendly and at dinner we had a lovely meal. I had the steak and my dad had the lamb tagine, both delicious and great quality and price for the pound conversion! We realised we had made an error with our second hotel and our overnight Mokoro trip and Mbaya, one of the Sedia staff, helped us get in contact with The Waterfront and organise our 3 day stay to accommodate our overnight Delta camping trip. He also organised us a pack breakfast as we were leaving early the next morning for our day out game drive into Moremi Park. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool. Sedia also allowed us to leave our suitcases with them when we went out to the park. They were also great with the airport pickup which we hadn't originally booked but managed to organise via another transport company at the airport who kindly called Sedia to inform them we wanted a pick up, they were there in 15 mins to pick us up. Would definitely recommend and it is so convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel for dinners, instead of taxis to restaurants. Thank you.

Regent Select Hotel is a very well designed, well managed, centrally located Hotel. Our stay here was ever so pleasant, generous sized room with a comfortable bed, lovely shower with great water pressure. Well equipped gym, very clean swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens, the landscaping at this hotel is very soothing. Our room included breakfast, the variety was great. The coffee served here is highly recommended! Evening meals at the restaurant were delicious. The reception, restaurant and housekeeping team were always friendly and very approachable. This hotel is definitely worth a visit, a real hidden gem. Nkele
