This was my best stay in Costa Rica so far. The property is so beautiful and you really feel immersed in nature. Giovanni and Vanessa were excellent hosts and took great care of me. Giovanni took me on a night walk after dinner which was a real highlight - we saw sloths after just a few meters! Also frogs, turtles, and a firefly-type beetle that I had no idea even existed. The restaurant / bar has a great vibe and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the wildlife was truly special — we even had a sloth named Lola living in the tree next to our balcony! I particularly liked the location and the uniqueness of this accommodation. It is very modern and very clean and the terrace provides great views of the countryside. The remoteness gave privacy but you will need transport to get there and about. There is a restaurant within walking distance that provides food and entertainment. The staff are very friendly and informative and gave great advice and i wish this new venture every success in the future.

Well... I had booked two nights and ended up staying an extra day at this well-run and relaxed place in Carrillo. Vincent and his family gave us a warmly welcome and made our stay very pleasant. Their homemade breakfast is exquisite with the panqueques and jams far above anything (You must try it) The room is nicely decorated and very confortable and has a private terrasse for breakfast, the garden is beautiful, the place is very quiet, and the Carrillo beach is just 350 meters away. But what this place makes really that special are the hosts themselves, they are so friendly and always took time to talk to us although they had a lot of things to manage, they helped us whenever we needed. We'll certainly be back!
