Beautiful property with great amenities and amazing hosts Joe & Isa. We stayed in a cute bungalow with a pool which was more than comfortable for our five nights. We even spotted an iguana. What a fabulous experience, from the friendly professional staff, the tranquil nature mountain setting, the sunset view pool, the delicious meals, the yoga deck, to the comfortable rooms, everything was perfect. We definitely wanted to spend a lot of time at the resort/hotel to enjoy it all. We saw toucans, agouti, and a sloth. Tip: Drive up during daylight for your first time, and use manual 1 or 2 to get up the hills. It gets easier after that! Thanks for the beautiful welcome, we can't wait to come back again. 💕

Carlos and his family were lovely, we had a wonderfull stay in the middle of the rain forest. You have breakfast next to Toucans, Aracaris etc. And Carlos explained all flora + fauna around 👍👍👍 Great breakfast and dinner. The rooms are very clean, there is basic equipment but everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. All the best for Carlos and his lovely family.

We stayed at La Prometida in Puerto Viejo for three wonderful nights last week. We were absolutely impressed by both the accommodation and the hospitality of Selva. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: from the fresh coffee delivered to our door every morning (complete with adorable heart-shaped chocolates on Valentine's Day - a lovely touch!), to the stunning Ibiza-style interior of the villas themselves. This stay will definitely remain one of the highlights of our 15-day holiday. In short, a true paradise tucked away in a quiet side street of the breathtaking Playa Negra. An absolute must!
