I wish there was more hostels like this in the world, it gives you sort of privacy, but same time it’s affordable, the space was enough in the cabin for single person. It’s clean everywhere, common area, bathroom. Polite, helpful receptionists.

We travelled to Denmark, and made a trip in two parts. The first part was an exploration of Funen, with Falsled Kro as our basis. But Falsled Kro was a jewel to discover by itself. We can say a lot, or we can say nothing and rest in wonder. This is a magical place, with lovely and very helpful people, who immediately made you feel at home. And the cuisine, morning or evening, was above expectations. 11/10, and we'll be back someday :).

The breakfast was exceptional and plentiful; a great example of what the Danes do best. Not only is the location beautiful with stunning views over the water – as an added bonus, we enjoyed the considerable collection of paintings by renowned Danish artist (and father of the current owner) Arne Haugen Sørensen – along with key Danish design pieces in the dining room.

We had a wonderful wedding lunch with about 20 people at the Garden Cafe. The setting in Augustenborg Garden is really beautiful and the team of Mette and Mette took great care of us. You get a really individual set up. From the menu to decoration and wedding cake. They do their best to fulfill all your wishes. We will always remember that special day. Thanks a lot for having us and the warm welcome. The home made gløgg is excellent as well. For our wedding we stayed at the lovely apartments in Augustenborg Garden right next to the Café. That was a perfect fit.

The staff are great!
