Guest reviewWhat an amazing place! The saddest part of our stay was leaving and only having the opportunity to stay for a single night, if time had allowed, we would have stayed a week! The location is perfect for the old historic centre, the cathedral is an easy walk, so much of the historic centre is walkable from here. The staff were so incredible!!! So kind and helpful, with great English and knowledge to share. Nothing was too much trouble, from extra coffee, so booking taxis and restaurants. The breakfast was one of the best meals we've eaten in Ecuador (and we have eaten very well in this country! - but this was a REALLY great way to start our day!) The Tigrillo was a really fabulous Ecuadorian breakfast cooked and presented beautifully. This is such a beautiful property, very well maintained and full of gorgeous murals on the walls, the roof terrace boasts a stunning view of the city sky line and the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy the breakfast. If we get the chance to return to Cuenca, this is the place we will stay for sure, and the place I would recommend to any friends who plan this trip!

Guest reviewMargarita and her team are exceptional. Welcoming. Attentive. Informative. The location is excellent. The open restaurant looks into the jungle garden with large numbers of colourful birds. The place is modern. They arranged trips for us. We booked three nights but ended up staying five nights and were reluctant to leave. The entire Mindo experience was wonderful. Small friendly town, accessible cloud forest activities.
