A generous, beautifully crafted and presented breakfast - Martha is an ex Cordon Bleu trained cook having formerly run a hotel with Jose in Ibiza and it definitely shows: local goats cheeses, freshly pressed orange juices, home-made fig jams and a variety of cured meats. In fact we had chosen this hotel because we heard that the food was so great.. We are sure the restaurant will get a Michelin star. The selection of wines in combination with the food is incredible! The chef is great as is the sommelier. But the way the whole team does their utmost to please you! It started with the great friendly welcome, with an aperative to start. The rooms are great, the view is extremely beautiful! Breakfast was a surprise, it was just perfect, we could tell where we wanted to get the breakfast served, in the front, the back, shade or in the sun. The team did everything to make you feel a welcome guest. For sure we come back and I would suggest if you are there in the neighborhood, don't miss this opportunity.

An exceptional hotel in simple everything! The best staff, extremely attentive to detail and polite and friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hotel supervisor (I wish I knew her name). She showed us around and was super informative and professional. Thank you, awesome Nacho and Andrea for all the advice and help, you made our stay super joyful! The rooms are beyond comfortable. The linen, towels, bedding and pillows are class. Everything in the hotel is very royal and impeccably clean. The staff at breakfast are absolutely amazing. We always came back to the room to find pleasant surprises! I can't recommend this hotel enough. Best treat in Salamanca! Best in the whole of Spain. Would love to come back.

We loved our stay at Xanela Xures! located in a very cozy small town very near the natural thermal waters (about 20 mins distance drive) We drove there and swim in thermal waters at sunrise and then came on time for an amazing homemade breakfast with local ingredients :) The beds were very confortable and we slept very well. It was also very well insulated and set to a perfect temperature.

Very nice modern hotel in historic building. Although modern, it does not feel cold or unpersonal like many new hotels do. You really can feel the personal touch of the owner. Very helpful and friendly staff (also speak English) and great breakfast. Would have liked to spend more than just one night there.
