Guest reviewSIMON, the owner is exceptional! As former tour-guide he is well-versed in all sights not only in and around Gondar, but in Ethiopia as a whole. He is willing to offer his valuable advise and beyond that support with organizing things. Simon is authentically friendly and hospitable, always available and helpful but never intrusive or pushy. You can feel that he must treat his staff very well as they all share the same style. I can wholeheartedly recommend his house as base for a stay in this area. And: The lodge is strategically located right at the fence of the caste-complex and has - from the terrasse - a great view.

Guest reviewWe enjoyed our two-night stay. Senait, Solomon, the chef and the entire staff were great. Very professional, helpful, friendly... Our room was clean and comfortable as was the entire Inn. Next time I will enjoy the Tony Bar more as well as the terrace. We have good souvenirs of our stay. Thank you very much.

Birhan made all the arrangements perfectly about our transfer from the airport , the visit to the unique churches and our meals. The hospitality we had was memorable! The owner so gentle and hospitable. Definetely we recommend it for anyone that wants to visit Lalibela!
