Guest reviewSIMON, the owner is exceptional! As former tour-guide he is well-versed in all sights not only in and around Gondar, but in Ethiopia as a whole. He is willing to offer his valuable advise and beyond that support with organizing things. Simon is authentically friendly and hospitable, always available and helpful but never intrusive or pushy. You can feel that he must treat his staff very well as they all share the same style. I can wholeheartedly recommend his house as base for a stay in this area. And: The lodge is strategically located right at the fence of the caste-complex and has - from the terrasse - a great view.

Guest reviewWe had a pleasant experience and the owner was very accommodating. Also I requested vegan breakfast and it was delicious. The room was very big and comfortable, we had hot water and wifi worked well ( I was able to work remotely) Overall great experience and Yohaness is a kind guy that would go above and beyond to make things happen !👏🏻

Birhan made all the arrangements perfectly about our transfer from the airport , the visit to the unique churches and our meals. The hospitality we had was memorable!
